Nice to finally get this resolved, now for a few new signings through the door.
No idea if Kompany will crash and burn, or prove to be a masterstroke, but he'll at least bring excitement back to the club again.

good to see he's up for the challenge as I am sure with his standing in the game he could have chosen a easier task - without some of our key players over the last couple of seasons not about in Tarks, Mee and Westy it has made a rebuilding task even harder, and to do a rebuild and get promotion make no mistake will be no mean feat. We already know there's not enough goals in the team and with Mee and Tarks and possibly Pope absent stopping them going in has got a whole lot more difficult.
So great to see VK up for it, positive sign.

Really good news. I was happy with VK coming in the Prem, even happier he’s here with us in the Champ. Looking forward to see what philosophy he brings.
I think the pressure on him is greater because we’re in the Championship. The expectation is promotion to the Premier League as opposed to avoiding relegation. It must be a long, long time since a new Burnley manager had that placed upon them. But an exciting appointment, let’s hope that translates to excitement on the pitch. Welcome Vincent!

Thank goodness that's sorted. Maybe now, we'll see a bit of activity. There should be a lot of personell announcement in the next month. Close season has been really boring up to now.

After all that waiting, there's no backroom staff and no new signings. Hell of a wait for that!

Hopefully with this appointment it will shut up the bandwagon sh1t stirrers who love to say we are an inward looking racist club, the excitement generated should show that we are open, inclusive and a great club to be part of.

I’d suggest that proves CT’s point around it having nothing to do with WPs.
That, or the back room staff are still waiting on theirs and we’ve got restless.
Not sure who we were waiting on to be in the photos though?

For a couple of years I considered Kompany the best centre back in the world.
Would settle for "one of the best" as manager.
Welcome aboard Vince and best of luck.
I still remember the days of him on Pro Evo Soccer before he joined Man City - he was massive!

If he is going to be half as successful, can we have the first 5 years and not the last 5 years please

ALERT.... NHS report reduction in demand of anti stress tablets in Burnley area
Though the demand is expected to increase again if a player hasn't been signed by 10am on Thursday

That's fair enough if it's come from someone you trust, but the same goes for the Italian guy, and the athletic, they will all stand by their sources... Absolutely no problem with that.
