Nice to finally get this resolved, now for a few new signings through the door.

No idea if Kompany will crash and burn, or prove to be a masterstroke, but he'll at least bring excitement back to the club again.

good to see he's up for the challenge as I am sure with his standing in the game he could have chosen a easier task - without some of our key players over the last couple of seasons not about in Tarks, Mee and Westy it has made a rebuilding task even harder, and to do a rebuild and get promotion make no mistake will be no mean feat. We already know there's not enough goals in the team and with Mee and Tarks and possibly Pope absent stopping them going in has got a whole lot more difficult.

So great to see VK up for it, positive sign.

Really good news. I was happy with VK coming in the Prem, even happier he’s here with us in the Champ. Looking forward to see what philosophy he brings.

I think the pressure on him is greater because we’re in the Championship. The expectation is promotion to the Premier League as opposed to avoiding relegation. It must be a long, long time since a new Burnley manager had that placed upon them. But an exciting appointment, let’s hope that translates to excitement on the pitch. Welcome Vincent!
