Loved watching that.

I know most of the world can speak two languages but still, how cool was he slipping into French to give some instructions to Bastien and then back into "SCANNING!"

Got to be amazing for all the players but especially defenders to be learning from one of the best.

Not sure if its because of how stale things got with the old regime (Garlick & Dyche) or whether its down to some great work from the new regime (Mr Pace & Kompany) but for a side relegated last season there seems to be a fantastic buzz around the club, the players and the fans and more importantly a real sense of unity and togetherness.

Its no substitute for success but if we do mange to do well this season I can see it being as exciting as the Coyle and Mullen seasons that are as enjoyable as it got for the last 40 years

You forgot the 2 promotion seasons under Dyche DA ... the 23 undefeated in the Championship winning season especially enjoyable

Enjoyable maybe the wrong word but there was something extra special (beyond the obvious joys of success) about that 4th Division Championship season under Mullen and the Play Off promotion and cup run under Coyle.

Dyche's 1st promotion wasn't far behind but sometimes you get a magical feeling about a season like we did with both Mullen and Coyle's promotions and so if (and its a big if) we go up under Kompany this season I sense from the buzz around the club at the moment it will have that extra special magical feeling

Another vid of training in Lisbon.

Haven’t seen Twine on any of the training vids this week…

I asked if Twine had travelled to Portugal, and someone replied yes. I've not seen him either.

VK said he missed the Shrews game as he felt jaded from the increased training work load. Hopefully be fine to get some minutes Saturday v Newc or else it’s hard to see him starting at Hudd.

He arrived, think he is in the first group wearing blue trainers

On all the videos, Cork seems to be the face of Burnley.
Skipper for season?
Playing most matches?
