Unfortunately they will be waiting for the Police. There will be restrictions for that game. If you have a Clarets Number though, you shouldn't have a problem getting a ticket when they go on sale.

Thanks,
Do you think it will be a kick off at lunch time ?
Hopefully it will not be moved to Monday evening because then i will not be able to go.

The local police would break out in nervous sweats if an evening kick off is mentioned. You can be fairly certain it will be 12pm Saturday or Sunday

It's going to be electric!! Don't know if you have been to the Eastlancsclassico but atmosphere should be superb. Although personally I hate the day as it is so draining on emotions!! Glad to see we have followers in Denmark.

It's honestly pathetic how we'll have to be escorted from the Turf for the away fixture. Is it the only derby in the UK that does this?

Thinking of going to this one myself Denmark, be sure to register with the club and get a number, keep an eye out when details of the game are announced, then I suppose it will be a question of demand, good luck.

It would be in keeping with Lancashire Police's terror of this game if they make it move to a Thursday 10.45 am kick-off - with buses leaving Turf Moor at 5.30 am.

You'll possibly need to have previously purchased a ticket for a game in order to have a purchase history.

Newcastle and Sunderland were made to do it for a season but the two clubs got together and put a stop to it.

A friend of mine who (at the time) lived in Darwen had to travel to Burnley to get on a coach to go to the match, and subsequently had to travel back to Burnley to then travel back home to Darwen after the match for a journey that is under 2 miles normally.

It's Stanley v Sheff Wed on the same day so I doubt Lancs Police will want both on the same day, suspect ours will get moved

We played them at Ewood in the league Cup a few seasons ago, when Ashley got stuck into the pitch invader.

The police struggle to change cup games as there isn't much leeway.
The FA Cup replay there, they only had 10 days to organise so couldn't get hold of enough buses for everyone for it to be mandatory.

That's a point anyone any idea allocation? Last few times have give us about 6,500 or similar as limited owing to how many coaches they can squeeze into the coach park. Hopeful 1 day we could take all 8000 ish. Best and worst away day. A win at ewood.

I think the last few have been nearer 5,000. They don't sell the seats on each side of the stands or at the front. Can't see them changing that..

Wouldn't it be fantastic if Lancashire police treated us like human beings and we could all go to this game at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon instead of being herded about like cattle...it is 2022 and not 1972 after all.

It’s not me, although, I too have had to make that ludicrous journey from Guide to Burnley, Burnley to Bollewood, Bollewood to Burnley and then Burnley to Guide.

Also, can you get across to the “home” section from Harry Potts Way entrance?
Can’t see them wanting to split the fans across 2 entrance points

I can only think of Cardiff v Swansea that had this rigmarole for years n years and may still have it ? Shame as it really takes the edge off the fixture . As for the away game ,utter ballache . Though we played em in the league cup
6/7?? Yrs ago early in season and sure there was no trouble as such and Ewood barely looked half full .

or is 1/2 empty

I assume he’s talking about the home game in November not the game at Ewood. As long as he’s got a Clarets number and has previously bought tickets, he shouldn’t have a problem in getting a ticket.

Garbage. Lancs police and the club would prefer zero away fans. No chance they're going to suggest the opposite.

. 2 facts
1. We will sell out at 5k, 6k 7k or 8k
2. They won't sell the 2,400 or so they get offered at Burnley.

Ooh a wager..... okay I'm in.
1. - I agree
2.- unfortunately I believe they will sell out their allocation at the turf this season. They will be very excited at the prospect of seeing some decent football...
Never mind the blonde witch. You can make a donation to the food bank when you lose....

Not so sure about point 1. Me and my mates have said we won't be putting up with the ridiculous bus charade again, plenty of others in the same boat as well.
Yes I get that, but when it comes to it, it's heart over head. We have said it before but still gone along like sheep. You'll be there, so will your mates. I'll buy you a beer at half time.
