What's that theory that every argument on the internet ends with a mention of the Nazi's?

Is it the same name for every thread on UpTheClarets and Twix banter?
Oh I dunno... someone will mention wasting time whilst referring to a £4k watch

We have one every close season, Driver, Lansbury, et al, this time it:s O'Hare. Please let's move on.

Sounds like the Verbruggen deal still being discussed, but Anderlecht are asking for 10m Euros.
I've no idea how good he is, but that's a joke for someone of his age and experience.
If he was good enough to justify that fee, he would have played a hell of a lot more first team games for Anderlecht.

Move on.

I still think we'll have O'Hare by the end of the window.

Godwin's Law.

Dunno what name we could create for a twix version though 🤔

Trump can also invoke Godwin’s law (well perhaps not as much now as a year or two ago)

As mentioned earlier, the tenuous link probably came from his agent.

I think it will do us good. We will have hardly anyone there so a month for VK to effectively do another mini pre-season given that we haven’t had ideal prep this summer in terms of personnel in/out and still being 3-4 body’s short 1 week before the season starts.

I’m sure they have all the data required from last seasons loan at Sheff Weds plus seeing him in pre season to make the decision. But it’s clear we’ve been targeting a main number 1, guess it’s up to BPF to either improve and push for number 1 or wait in the wings…

Anyone got a link for the Muric thing?

I've been hoping we'd get him over the young Dutch lad. More experienced.

Me too, but I'd feel even less happy with Norris.

We desperately needed a new goalkeeper.

Surely signals that Lowton is leaving. Kompany has been clear he wants two in each position, and I just don’t see us selling Roberts (I hope not anyway). Lowton feels out of the picture and at 33 possibly doesn’t fit what the club is going for.

By a country mile the better of the two keepers last week.

Having said that, I don’t think there will be too long a wait for a new keeper.

Norris looked awful at Shrewsbury! Some of the goals he has conceded in our first team in the league were embarrassing as well.

The four goals he conceded in two Premier League games would have all been saved by a decent keeper.

Wonder if Muric goes straight in at Hudd. Doubtful unless he’s on a plane to Portugal to play in tomorrows friendly.

I wonder if what was a case of Muric or Verbruggen or whether we wanted both? This just seems to have happened very quickly from the news yesterday about the Anderlecht lad so we were surely someway down the line with Muric also.

Weird how we spent so much time chasing the other keeper when Muric was available for £3m.

Anderlecht lad would have been over a few days ago my suspicion is as with mcnally and Ballard, Muric was the number 1 option we went for verbuggen and then managed to negotiate a decent fee for muric so ****** verbuggen off as we did with Ballard.

But it's not as if City need the money. They could have just let Muric rot in the reserves if they wanted.

I can remember Muric having some Norris style shockers at Forest but that was a few years ago and if City want a buy back option he must have improved. Only need Delap now and if Cornet does go presumably we up the bid for O’Hare. I’m another one who’d be seriously cheesed off if we sold McNeil on the cheap since I think he could be outstanding in the championship.

Played a few games at start of season for Forest but quickly lost his place and didn’t play again. But that’s three years ago now.

He looked like a rabbit in the headlights against Liverpool, and that was BEFORE the kickoff. What followed couldn't have done his confidence any good. Dyche and Billy Merecer must have seen something in him, but we definitely need someone stronger.

Might not be bad but is he a promotion winning keeper? The fact he didn’t stand out on loan in League One suggests not.

The old complaint used to be that we'd waste our time chasing a single target and not having an alternative.
We've been chasing both Muric and the other lads at the same time, we've now landed one of them by the looks of it and still people aren't happy.
