Women's T20 cricket, 3x3 basketball and 3x3 wheelchair basketball will all make their Games debuts.

Basketball could be worth a watch, especially with only 3 on either side, I'd imagine that will be fast paced.

Are NBA pros taking part in the basketball? (like the Olympics)

Another big crash in the cycling following the incident last night, hope everyone is ok.

Further success for the home nations after a great night in the pool yesterday.

Quite a day for Scotland yesterday, 4 golds in 4 hours, including Eilish McColgan emulating her mum Liz, who won the same event in 1986 and 1990.

And Rose Lenton became Scotland's oldest ever gold medallist, at the ripe age of 72.

Katarina Jordan-Thompson overcame her recent injury problems to claim gold in the heptathlon.

BBC coverage is again shocking. Sport going on constantly yet we spend more time in the studio with the overpaid gobshites.
Was far better when you could press the red button and watch the sport of your choice. Now it’s on iplayer, that is geo-restricted.
Bit of a shock to watch the ladies MB race with 9 entrants and Ailish McColgan win the track 10k with a field of 8.

I haven't seen any of it live, just checking the news for updates, but it does seem bizarre that if sport is happening it's not being covered, most folks will tune in to watch the action, not the pundits chinwagging.

When she came off that final corner and gritted her teeth, I thought of the final throw in film Geordie (Bill Travers and Alastair Sim) and knew she would win!!

Question that may have been asked before but I’ve only just realised, why do we play God Save The Queen at football for England games, but Jerusalem for England at the Commonwealth Games?

None of the other home nations play GSTQ at their international matches

Possibly because she is Queen of the Commonwealth. It makes a change from that dirge anyhow.
