Can't see here without the screens showing the lineups with the cards, did they both go or just Maatsen?

Maatsen red was a little harsh imo. It was a push. If he’s gonna get sent off, might as well have swung a punch.

Edit: just in case anyone gets triggered, I am only joking on the last point.

Well they'd better start learning quickly, we had this game in the palm of our hands, and we've chucked 2 points away through sheer naivety.

This is one of the risks of relying on youth over experience. They're raw, they're hot-blooded, and they're not as used to the niggles and frustrations that rack up in certain games. Very rare you get a young pro with a cool, veteran head on his shoulders. Maatsen's one of the youngest on the pitch, it's still obviously a massive mistake that he'll need to learn from, but it's far less of an issue than if it was one of the more experienced players.
Biggest problem is it puts us without him for a stretch when he's been one of our main assets each game.

Stop playing square pegs in round holes, we sign centre backs and play a predominantly left back at centre half ffs

I like most of VKs style, (the forcing out of the back and short corners can go), but he's not without blame today.

He's still learning too, so I'm still pretty positive after today.
