We’ve gone from being fifth down to fifteenth. I’m glad that I couldn’t watch it on clarets+.
Welcome back to the Championship.
Everyone over the summer was saying it's a poor standard, we'll walk it etc. Must be very recent fans or very forgetful because the Championship is almost always a tight field. You might get 1 runaway champion but every other position is usually up for grabs for anyone.
Every win is a big win, because every team can get a result against every other team on their day.

In fairness this 2nd half meltdown is worthy of criticism.
I agree, it's the over the top melodramatic whinging that's tedious

That feels like such a big 2 points away to the rest of the field.

Got to learn from this. Fantastic first half but not good second. Started it really poor and it set the tone.

That is "a big 2 points away to the rest of the field." No "feels" about it.

A lot of learning opportunities.

We are to naive
Exactly 3-1 up with under 20 mins to go we need to manage the game better, and if that means deploying some of the dark arts then so be it.

Can’t defend with one center half. VK thinks he is managing Man City quality. One thing for sure is we are a million miles from top quality

It feels like a defeat given we were well in control until that mad few minutes.

And all these soft goals we're shipping has to be a major cause for concern.

Phil Bird not realizing there’s still a hot mic just told someone in the media box “you’ve got my job” Tone was sarcastic rather than real, but there has obviously been a “conversation”

5 games in. 4 points off the top. It’s disappointing to drop the points but let’s have some perspective. :)

This is all part of the learning curve for both the players and more importantly VK.
Blackpool came out more aggressive and it felt more like a Derby. We couldn't handle it..
Subs were wrong...Barnes was woeful again.
A more experienced manager might have brought off Maatsen, moved Taylor to LB and brought on Egan..
Shored things up...but again learning too.
15th place means nothing we are in touch with the top 8 which is what we need to do while the team settles and gels..
Of course disappointing!

6 teams have scored more than us, 6 have scored the same, for all our focus on attacking football.
8 teams conceded more, 5 the same, despite us apparently controlling the majority of the ball in the majority of the pitch.
Blackpool had double the shots on target, and until the dying minutes, more shots in general, despite our 71% possession.
Still see absolutely nothing to change my 12th place prediction. Really hope I'm wrong but things need to start clicking sooner than later.

Cant wait for Kompany to start talking about gelling and tweeks again, I thought we gelled perfectly in the second half, we all started panicing in unison, job done!

Are people serious. We are FIVE, yes FIVE, games into the season with virtually a new side. We’ve lost only one and that narrowly. I can remember a very talented young side which lost six and drew one of its first eight games and went on the win the league…….god knows what UTC would have made of that

I think the mistake was changing things up when we were ahead.
When things are going well, and the other team is going more direct the last thing you need is bringing on different players.

Booing, Swearing at players, every time Muric got the ball he was getting dogs abuse. The moans and groans throughout the game just got louder and louder.

Its a brand new team, playing a brand new way, with a brand new manager

And its five games in, and we've only lost one (and that one we battered them 2nd half)

Its a work in progress

1 win in 5 but only 1 loss, it all depends whether you are a glass half full or glass half empty person

That's infuriating. They were terrible. Should not be dropping points to **** like that. Think Maatsen lost his head after the second half goals. He was positionally to blame for one of them. The bad tackle comes when he is trying to make up for it.

Going forward was excellent in spells. There's a lot to like but it will be lost by a crazy twenty minutes.

It’s interesting in that it’s the same crowd that supported through thick and thin last season. The issue is they can see what we’re capable of, but if we make senseless mistakes it’s a different emotion.

Last season was about effort whereas this season is about understanding just how good we can be

Could not disagree more.

I'd say apart from the best years under Dyche (2015-2019) our fans have been poor for a very long time, probably since Coyle left, it's like he broke the hearts of a huge section of supporters who've never recovered.

They don't chant much, they don't have original songs- plenty get suggested but the best that'll catch on is one cribbed from another club 3 years earlier with the names changed. I think it's ridiculous to blame the fans for performances or results but I do think it's extremely important to positively back the team through the entire 90 minutes. Even if I don't think the fans being hostile will dip their own team's performance, so much as react to that dip, if they've dipped already and players' heads drop a loud supportive crowd can help lift them back.

It's nothing to do with high standards, be as critical and negative as you like after the game, but during the game try to rally.
