Re: Last game of the season will be moved now
Thought the last day would be a Sunday anyway purely because of TV. So no real surprise if it is moved.

Play the games regardless put the Coronation on record. There are millions like me who have no interest in watching or hearing about the Windsors and their lives

I’m a strong supporter of the royal family, but I don’t believe match day should be changed for this reason.

Don't be silly, they're not Windsors they are the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha lot.

And there are millions who do. You can't make it all about yourself - other people's wishes should be taken into account as well.Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 8:14 amPlay the games regardless put the Coronation on record. There are millions like me who have no interest in watching or hearing about the Windsors and their lives

All the London games will be off anyway because the police will be committed to policing the large numbers wanting to see the coronation. So that means that, given the League like all the final games to be played at exactly the same time, the rest will be off as well.

I'm not going to get into debate with people whose idea of argument is "you are wrong and I will call you rude names". Don't get into that sort of behaviour, please. What do you think people must think of you, as a person, if you are so intolerant of anyone's view but your own?Woodleyclaret wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 9:26 amFao dsr it's about all the anti royalists who get ignored by the jingoistic forelock tuggers and media hype.It not about me.

What a conundrum! All this going on and on poor little Archie’s birthdays as well. I’m sure that his father will be ‘rather shocked’ that this day has been chosen. Hopefully this will mean that he and his wife won’t be attending. Too busy with birthday cakes and podcasts, etc.
