Okay, so having a restless night, I checked my phone and found this thread. What I meant, and everyone must agree, the stress that he put his grand parents through in their advancing years and deteriorating health would not have done them any good at at all. He didn’t, and doesn’t, seem to see this, he is that thick.

Whilst BLM was founded in 2013 it came to prominence in 2020 after the murder of George Floyd. Meghan Markle was interviewed by Elle magazine in July 2015 and said:

"Fast-forward to the seventh grade and my parents couldn't protect me as much as they could when I was younger. There was a mandatory census I had to complete in my English class – you had to check one of the boxes to indicate your ethnicity: white, black, Hispanic or Asian. There I was (my curly hair, my freckled face, my pale skin, my mixed race) looking down at these boxes, not wanting to mess up, but not knowing what to do. You could only choose one, but that would be to choose one parent over the other – and one half of myself over the other. My teacher told me to check the box for Caucasian. 'Because that's how you look, Meghan,' she said. I put down my pen. Not as an act of defiance, but rather a symptom of my confusion. I couldn't bring myself to do that, to picture the pit-in-her-belly sadness my mother would feel if she were to find out. So, I didn't tick a box. I left my identity blank – a question mark, an absolute incomplete – much like how I felt."

What do you think MM had to gain by "claiming to be black"? I can think of plenty of reasons why an aspiring actor would claim to be caucasian, not that I am suggesting MM did this. She has talked openly and authentically about her experience of being mixed race and the pressure others, including you it would seem, put on her to choose a black or white label. Racial identity is a complex issue and one that requires a level of exploration beyond a Daily Mail headline. Sadly, I fear that may be a step too far for you.
