Siting away fans in the “gods” well away from the pitch (Sunderland and Newcastle) plus making them queue endlessly for limited turnstiles then climb Himalayan steps alienates them which contributes to bad behaviour. Throwing coins and other items at home fans is clearly wrong but Sunderland need to look at the whole away fan experience.

I normally would have 10 pockets which would require searching for coins..... And after all that they'd miss them because I keep them in my wallet. The most ill thought out idea I've heard in a long time, totally unmanageable

We went to Italy England one year and had all coins and belts taken off us.

At full time there was a pile of belts for you to find your own among
What happened to the coins?

Ridiculous.
I had to queue, and climb the Himalayan steps, in didn't deter me one jot, nor encourage me to act like a brainless fart.
Putting away fans in a better section is fine, but to suggest it contributes to bad behaviour, wake up.

I arrived at the ground around 2.45 and was less than 10 minutes in the queue with the short walk up the steps to my seat in the stand, I really don't know what all the fuss is about.

More than likely the moaners are all the puddings who take up cruises
