Brownhill
Brownhill
Didn’t need to get involved. What a stupid way to get booked. I can’t imagine VK will be best pleased. He knew before a ball was kicked tonight that he had to watch things, why doesn’t the brain engage sometimes.

Exactly my thoughts too. I was fuming at him. Cork even tried to push him away. He had no need to be involved it was stupid.

Re: Brownhill
Big worry for Saturday now if Cullen isn’t fit. Ideally I’d be going with a three man midfield there so we need to hope he’s fit and then bring Bastien in possibly for Gudmundsson.
Silly and needless.

Re: Brownhill
I only saw it once, but it looked to me like a standard captain getting involved to stop other people getting involved thing, for which the captains don't usually get booked, so I thought it was unlucky.
But I might well be wrong.

Re: Brownhill
Bastien will be fine. He was good against Reading. Brownhill hasn't been that great lately anyway.

It was Barnes doing the brain work and ushering players away.distortiondave wrote: ↑Wed Nov 02, 2022 11:09 pmI only saw it once, but it looked to me like a standard captain getting involved to stop other people getting involved thing, for which the captains don't usually get booked, so I thought it was unlucky.

Re: Brownhill
Bastien will do a decent job there.
Re: Brownhill
Agree, no need to get involved.
As for his current position it baffles me.
Takes a position in between Maatsen and Zaroury and just slows play down.

Re: Brownhill
Agree and he needs to be able to get about the pitch as per normal. I know we have won 4 on the trot, but we miss Cullen.

Re: Brownhill
Silly booking for Josh, plus I could not work out his role. Looked like Cork was the only genuine CM

Re: Brownhill
Same across the divisions.
19 for 5, 32 for 10, 38 for 15 and 20 in a season probably a jail term.

Re: Brownhill
5 bookings in 19 games = 1 match suspension
Last night was game 19. If he'd got booked in the next game, he wouldn't have missed the derby

Re: Brownhill
Bastien was unlucky to miss out last night. I’m sure he’ll be fine alongside the experience of Cork.
