Extra Bank Holiday

Mr Sunak has just announced an extra bank holiday for HM the Kings coronation. Its due to be on the 6th may. I suspect our match against Cardiff will be delayed two days to the Bank Holiday Monday.

The bank holiday will be on the 8th May giving us one on the 1st and then the 8th..I wonder if they will move the 1st to the 5th to give a long weekend like they did for VE Day (?)

I am pretty certain they won't do that. One reason the new holiday is the 8th and not 5th is to avoid a clash with the counts for local elections.

Can't see that happening, if it was you would think it would be announced at the same time, but this is the British Government I suppose, we'd probably have another 3 Prime Ministers before the coronation.
