This league is bloody mad. I had a minor doubt that we may end up drawing this and Boro were in form. We've made both look very poor and tonight we were nowhere near our best.

Any idea who that was with VK as they came off right at the end. VK put his arms round him, the lad had diamond earrings in and lots of hair, I think he was one of our players.

Glad someone else noticed this.

Some of the outstanding football we play, he is central to it, it really can’t be underplayed!

We didn't need to be at our best. We would have gone up a couple of gears if we had needed to.

Exactly. We've got the result without needing to sweat, almost.

I'm sure we all noticed it. I also loved how a few times when there was danger in the box he came and collected. I think he punched once and did wonder if he could have caught it, but yeah had a good game.

You just knew he'd mention the so called foul on his player in the build up to the first goal.

It wasn't a great punch but given the wet conditions a punch was probably the right choice, especially with a high ball that limits your situational awareness. The execution was awful but it was probably the right decision.

Did Eustace say anything about Hannibal should have had a second yellow and been sent off?

Yeah I don't think his decision to punch or catch made a difference and I was happy with how he played. This is why I like us to be pressed. It puts us under pressure and allows us to show and improve on how we pass it out from the back.

And Deeney's sh!thouse foul that should have seen red. The ref didn't even give a foul for the challenge on Benson, probably as he knew he would have to give another card.

No, surprisingly he failed to mention that, or the fact that his team failed to have a shot on target all game.

Blues fans saying that Hannibal got the ball. Would have to look at it again to see what they're on about

Enjoyable game.

Said it before the game we should have won it 3/4-0. That Birmingham team is the same as 22 of the other teams they are shocking.

Like they said on commentary, doesn't matter if he got the ball if the challenge was reckless.
And as he jumped into the challenge studs up, it was.

Should have walked.

It really wasn’t , hoofed the ball upfield on numerous occasions to no one and sliced one into the JH stand second half

It really was. The odd occasion he hoofed it was welcome for me, shows he’s learning and his decision making is improving. I’m happy for him to row Z the ball on occasion as long as we don’t concede. Tonight he was excellent

The big slice he did was after a bad back pass from Zaroury ,came at him at 100 miles an hour, don’t think he could do much else, can’t believe your criticism of him on an horrendous night.

I know we knock VAR and we may have been advantaged over the first half of the season, however with VAR Hannibal would have been a red and Deeney would have been close to a sending off

Shouldn't need VAR if the refs are up to their job, Deeney could have gone on another night, and Hannibal definitely should have walked for a 2nd yellow but the ref bottled it.

VAR in its current format is ruining the game and until that is changed it will continue to frustrate us that it can do so much good for the game if used correctly

Don't know ifs it's been mentioned but did anyone see the old guy just before kickoff wrestling with his plastic raincoat looking for the armholes the camera stayed with him throughout his ordeal till he eventually screwed it up into a ball and put it away in a Tesco carrier bag....comedy gold... bless him.
