On the face of it, it’s a good appointment.

Not sure his recent performances at Bakhmut mean he deserves this chance

Re: Wagner in at Norwich
Did well at Huddersfield, however he's done little since.
Positive he'll bring is he knows the Championship, but will he be able to attract signings, and will he be able to get this Norwich squad gelling I'm not convinced.
Minimum they should be expecting is a PO spot, but automatic already looks beyond them.

He strikes me as someone who will need the rest of this season to assess the issues with that team before a promotion charge next season. More long than short term, in my opinion.

How many foreign managers have they had?
I can only think of Farke up to now.

You need to start worrying when you find yourself thinking one of Woodley's posts is insightful and accurate.nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 3:45 pmSeemingly strange post.

Good appointment for them. Done a cracking job at Huddersfield and they played football the right way.

Decent managerial record. No compo. Sacked after one season for not defending their title, seems harsh to me.

Sounds fine in theory, however how many managers get the luxury of time to build these days.jedi_master wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 3:45 pmHe strikes me as someone who will need the rest of this season to assess the issues with that team before a promotion charge next season.
