Exactly ... get the Arch Bish to come to t'Turf too and we can give The King a right Royal Sing Song and Coronation ... MACCA can lead the singing

Re: last match of season
IF we were to win the title by then… would this be the match where the trophy was presented? Is it usually the last home game of the season? Does anyone know?
Re: last match of season
Sheffield United are away to Birmingham so even if we've won it, they might decide to have the trophy sat there.

Nice one, cheers. My son and I are midlands based so can only make a few home games a season- be a good thing for him to witness!

Just hold back for now, as the coronation might get moved late doors for Sky TV.

It's Burnley, we'll just get the inflatable trophy from Charlton again .

Re: last match of season
now that opens a hole new can of worms the match could be moved to sunday or monday as the monday will be a bank holiday, now that is where it would get fun on here and else where as depending on how your employment contract and or employer views it it could be without pay or taken from normal holiday entitlement, and the employer may or may not pay for the day even if he closes the place of work.claretblue wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 10:03 pmCardiff C at Turf Moor Saturday 6th May

Yesterday they have it down for " games to be played on the 6th or 7th of May "

Don't the final games usually all kick off simultaneously at 12 noon on the Sunday?

Re: last match of season
I believe the whole fixture list that weekend will be given a 0-0 result without playing so essentially null and void. Wherever we are in the league following Bristol City away will be our final position

Re: last match of season
Given the choice, I'd rather watch VK' s "Coronation" v Cardiff.
