Well they have only charged me a £10 for an adult ticket and a £5 for over 65 ..just wondered if it was because I also renewed season tickets today or maybe its because its my birthday or maybe a reward for being the best Burnley fan ever ... ha ha

You’ve done well then. It should be £5 more per ticket.alki claret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 7:38 pmWell they have only charged me a £10 for an adult ticket and a £5 for over 65 ..just wondered if it was because I also renewed season tickets today or maybe its because its my birthday or maybe a reward for being the best Burnley fan ever ... ha ha

Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
I paid £10 for a senior ticket yesterday and £15 for an adult. They are now priced at £5 less.alki claret wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 7:38 pmWell they have only charged me a £10 for an adult ticket and a £5 for over 65 ..just wondered if it was because I also renewed season tickets today or maybe its because its my birthday or maybe a reward for being the best Burnley fan ever ... ha ha

Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
I’ve just bought a ticket for me (adult), my dad (over 65) and my daughter (U18).
Total cost was £15. Mine was £10, my dad’s was £5 and my daughter’s was free.
Is that right???
ps I haven’t renewed my season ticket yet.

You should have paid £15, £10 & £5 but for whatever reason they have all gone down £5 with the kids tickets now free.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 7:59 pmI’ve just bought a ticket for me (adult), my dad (over 65) and my daughter (U18).

Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
Sounds a bit dodgy, selling a ticket at 2 different prices, without prior notification.
Whilst I am overjoyed at my £10 over 65 ticket, I am not convinced that arbitrarily reducing the price by 50%, the very next day, is very honourable. Perhaps they have given us all some loyalty points?

What the hell is going on, how does this work with the tickets sold yesterday at full price and today they're discounted

I think it's fair to say there is room for lots of improvement with the ticket processes!

I would happily ask the club to put mine towards a charity collection.
This season has been a bargain.

So if the coop cut the price of their spiced rum tomorrow, I should barge in and demand cashback because I bought some at full price on New Years Eve?
Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
If this isn't an error that's rectifed people will be well within their rights to be unhappy - it'd be a matter of principle

£15 is good value. Again, a matter of principle rather than the value.

Ive Just looked at those of friends & family still in my basket. Below the tickets it shows a total cost and then a discount of £5 per ticket.

Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
The value is irrelevant really (however if you’re a family who have bought 4/5/6 tickets then all those £5’s will add up during these tough financial times) but it’s crazy to sell at one price on Day 1 and then discount quite heavily the very next day. It’s not right or fair no matter which way you look at it.

It’s not right at all. Just spoken to someone who had bought around 12 tickets so has paid £60 more than he would have done tonight.Jakubs Tash wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 9:03 pmThe value is irrelevant really (however if you’re a family who have bought 4/5/6 tickets then all those £5’s will add up during these tough financial times) but it’s crazy to sell at one price on Day 1 and then discount quite heavily the very next day. Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
I’ve just read this and benefitted from the reduced price. I may be totally wrong but sounds like a ‘flash’ type sale that has gone on too early! Noting the ‘Preston Post Match’ could it be something that was aimed to be launched to cash in on a possible win tomorrow and encourage more tickets to be sold?

I like the idea that the tickets are cheap and they might be encouraging everyone to fill the ground….but someone has definitely made a mistake here. And it certainly isn’t fair.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 9:06 pmIt’s not right at all. Season ticket holders being penalised for getting their tickets early - I’ve heard it all now!

I’m not sure they can do that. I’m not sure what the FA rules are on ticket pricing in the cup.burnmark wrote: ↑Fri Feb 10, 2023 9:07 pmI’ve just read this and benefitted from the reduced price. Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
Gone back up now to the correct price
Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
By chance, I logged in at about 8.30 this evening and bought four tickets (2 adult 2 children) for £20. I didn't know anything about the price changes, just that I was presented with the ticket prices as they were and thought it was a bit of a bargain.
Re: Discounted Tickets for Fleetwood Game
I bought a ticket today at 10:37 and paid full price. The Cod Army, according to their website are still being charged £15? Maybe just an error
