Is there no possibility for there to be another exit going straight into the Cricket Club? Possibly directly opposite the stairs.

I know the safe exit plan for emergencies includes the gates onto the pitch as the capacity of the main stairs isn't high enough.

Maybe by the time the players leave the field the other 3 stands have emptied but they stay to applaud the players off. I've seen the CFS empty from the seating area before other stands on occasions this season.
