Scans, dislocation- what’s the world come to
Just look at the shoulder and a simple good X Ray
No wonder the NHS is a cash cow
Then get MR to look at the ligaments and tendons if it isn’t dislocated

It will be done at the clubs cost privately

Why on earth would they loan him? He’s out of contract in the summer 2024 is he not?

Yes - the article states he would sign a new long term deal with Chelsea first.

They'll give him a new long term contract.
Then he gets a season in the PL and if he does well, they'll sell him for an inflated price, or keep him on the books as a back up.
If he doesn't, they'll sell him for a slightly less inflated price.

Or tell them, just like Tarks, that he won’t be signing, and they either sell him (to us) or he becomes a free agent

He's their player. We have absolutely no say in the matter.

I see he is using the $3000 unit rather than the $25000 one :D . They are pretty cool those things. No pun intended.

When I’ve had an injury like that I just stick an ice pack in the freezer, no surprise it takes me ages to recover

It will come down to the player and what he wants. He might want out of Chelsea and if he does, and won’t sign a new deal, then they will sell him this summer.

He's only got 1 year left on his contract.
Chelsea are looking for a fire sale this summer to raise some funds, and shrink that inflated squad.
He must realise any new deal they offer is purely so they can make more money off him, rather than utilise him as a player.
Imo he'd be better off refusing the deal, and force a sale. It doesn't mean we would get him, but it would improve our chances.

Potter is bemoaning the fact that he has 31 squad players as it stands and that is affecting the team, so as above I can see them having a fire sale.

Maatsen has posted a photo of himself from training today (I think).

If this is the case then he has been very lucky with the injury (as have we!).

They have them at a physical therapy place i went to .......there's no escape once strapped in....no way you could stand that much cold if given the choice..very effective.

Can't over-emphasise just how important this lad is to our system.

A massive bonus if a serious injury has been avoided.

If he's played in a game, then that's good. He's not going to be playing if his shoulder is knackered.

With Maatsen being recalled by Chelsea does this suggest that Kompany may be replacing Potter?
