Maatsen Injury
Re: Maatsen Injury
Scans, dislocation- what’s the world come to
Just look at the shoulder and a simple good X Ray
No wonder the NHS is a cash cow
Then get MR to look at the ligaments and tendons if it isn’t dislocated

Re: Maatsen Injury
You think he will be sat in AnE for 12 hours waiting for a scan

It will be done at the clubs cost privately

I’d love him for another season. Let’s hope so.

Why on earth would they loan him? He’s out of contract in the summer 2024 is he not?RVclaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 6:33 amReport from the Sun suggesting we will try and get Maatsen on loan again next season:

Re: Maatsen Injury
They'll give him a new long term contract.
Then he gets a season in the PL and if he does well, they'll sell him for an inflated price, or keep him on the books as a back up.
If he doesn't, they'll sell him for a slightly less inflated price.

I see he is using the $3000 unit rather than the $25000 one
. They are pretty cool those things. No pun intended.
When I’ve had an injury like that I just stick an ice pack in the freezer, no surprise it takes me ages to recover

Re: Maatsen Injury
He's only got 1 year left on his contract.
Chelsea are looking for a fire sale this summer to raise some funds, and shrink that inflated squad.
He must realise any new deal they offer is purely so they can make more money off him, rather than utilise him as a player.
Imo he'd be better off refusing the deal, and force a sale. It doesn't mean we would get him, but it would improve our chances.

Re: Maatsen Injury
Potter is bemoaning the fact that he has 31 squad players as it stands and that is affecting the team, so as above I can see them having a fire sale.

Re: Maatsen Injury
Maatsen has posted a photo of himself from training today (I think).
If this is the case then he has been very lucky with the injury (as have we!).

Can't over-emphasise just how important this lad is to our system.
A massive bonus if a serious injury has been avoided.

If true, that's a remarkable recovery. Where has he posted?
Re: Maatsen Injury
That picture could easily have been from before the weekend?
Re: Maatsen Injury
He isn't seen anywhere on the training ground pictures on The BFC website for this morning...

If he's played in a game, then that's good. He's not going to be playing if his shoulder is knackered.

Re: Maatsen Injury
With Maatsen being recalled by Chelsea does this suggest that Kompany may be replacing Potter?
