Most certainly did.......and we lost the replay at Ewood.......a heartbreaker at the time.
At least they lost the Final at Wembley.

If we get through our tie Fulham away is definitely to be avoided.

Re: Tonights Footy (Tues)
We have a very poor record at Fulham but their record at the turf is even worse.

2-0 Millwall, Bradshaw again. Means Millwall will go 4th just a point behind Boro.

Indeed it wouldn't and nobody will fancy facing them in this form.Buxtonclaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 9:18 pmWouldn't be a total shock if Millwall went up via the play offs.
Luton have got one back so maybe not over yet.

Blackburn have played well but there is a real absence of quality from Leicester.

I think we’re going to lose the FA cup final and the play-off final to Rovers.

Never want them to win, don’t want to play them, not arsed about the relevance of them being a Lancashire club either

That should have been a red for Mendy in stoppage time? I thought Premier League grounds had VAR?

It’s nice to see their fans get excited for a change. Lock up your ponies on the way home.
Re: Tonights Footy (Tues)
Fair play .... BR definitely deserved it. One of the best cup ties I've seen in a long while. Let's hope we don't do a Leicester tomorrow night !

Commentators on something tonight. Bigging Bastards up. Premier League capable, must not have watched us paste them.

Cov close to a 16th clean sheet. 4 since McNally arrived & they’ve only conceded 3 goals since then.

Re: Rovers
Well we now for certain the league game will be moved.
Can't fathom this Rovers side out, they've won at Leicester and West Ham this season, yet in the league they've been average in many games.

As Papabendi once famously opined on here:
"A rovers / claret wembley derby would be amazing for the brand and East lancs football in general"

Re: Tonights Footy (Tues)
Or 3 of our last 13. I don’t think there’s many fixtures between two teams that have such a home bias historically. Let’s hope we get someone at home should we get through.
Just checked and unbelievable that the 5 - 3 win at the turf was in 1978. Remains one of the best games I’ve seen as a nipper.

Re: Tonights Footy (Tues)
Two of those three were in the behind closed doors season. I think I’ve only seen us win there three times, 71/72, 80/81 & 15/16.Hibsclaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 9:38 pmOr 3 of our last 13. Millwall pegged back. Still 19 points between us and 3rd.
