Re: Game spoiled by selfish "fans"
Went to the game yesterday and stayed in Blackpool last night and saw no trouble at all.
Obviously heard about what’s gone on and sounds awful but it sounds like a minority again causing problems.

Re: Game spoiled by selfish "fans"
If I had kids I wouldn't take them to games like yesterday. It's a sad state of affairs but just wouldn't feel comfortable doing it.

Who knows, maybe ‘a little fresh’ is the latest slang for ‘taken a load of ket’

You can chuck your accusations and assumptions from behind your keyboards around all you want I know what I experienced.

Any away teams fans in the land thatJellybean wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 11:16 amI am sick of these morons, they are the very reason why I can't take my kid to what should be a nice away game in Blackpool. It's not even young lads, they're all ages, feral and spending most of the game gauding the opposition. Weirdly I go to away games to cheer on my team and watch a match, these supposed fans will stop me from doing so in future

I love these threads after each busy away game.
We weren’t singing…..
Well it sounded loud on telly……
It was loud where I was in the middle….
I didn’t hear a song from the middle all game…..
The truth, is as always, somewhere in the middle but I think Bumba was perhaps expecting too much.

Accy Clarets are the ones I've been with several times and even seen letters handed out before setting off due too bad behaviour and warning the fans so it's an ongoing issue they are aware of whether people like claret Tony hide under a duvet to not see it or choose to ignore it.
Truth it we have a serious issue that needs sorting asap because our fans are becoming a joke

Re: Game spoiled by selfish "fans"
It’s what happens in a “ 6000 points game“ when people are buying 10 tickets etc . You have an over representation of both Bob Lorders ( very long term ST’s etc) and the coke heads who think Blackpool is a Utopia . Never a great mix of people barely able to get to their seats through either inebriation or old age .
Ps
As for people missing about rowdy boozy behaviour at a BLACKPOOL match … ffs . Of all the games

It's illegal to carry alcohol on coaches to football matches, yet almost every away game photos are posted on social media of fans drinking on the supporters coaches.

I’m presuming you don’t have a drink before games?
I only ask as it’s also illegal to enter a ground under the influence of alcohol.

Re: Game spoiled by selfish "fans"
I have stopped taking my lad on away games due to the rough looking cocaine snorting drunks that frequent these matches. And this is just the women of Burnley.

I walked in to that yellow submarine bar yesterday before the game and the place was packed with zombies, was funny but I’ve never seen a group that off it

I have a pint in a pub before the game... No offence
Can of beer on coach.. Offence
It's obviously being allowed on some Coaches... Just pointing it out when people are saying everything thing is fine on the Coaches.

Re: Game spoiled by selfish "fans"
Is being drunk not under the influence of alcohol?
We are missing the point here. The point isn’t if you can/can’t have a beer on a coach. The point is that a large portion of our fans a pi55ed up, coked up and wanting to fight anyone and everyone inside the ground.

Re: Game spoiled by selfish "fans"
You're wrong.ClaretInLeeds wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 10:30 amYou’ve obviously got an agenda against the supporters clubs for whatever reason.
I’ve used the supporters clubs since I was about 13 years old. I have the upmost respect for Pete and those who run the coaches for him (I have, on occasion, run coaches for him too) but they are not babysitters. The majority of people who travel via supporters clubs are well behaved individuals who follow the Clarets all over the country every single week. Since lockdown, there have been people who use this method of transport to take drugs and get smashed.
Don’t tar everyone with the same brush - it’s the minority that are the problem, not the majority. It’s also not the supporters clubs responsibility to “look after” these individuals.
The supporters clubs have it in their power to stop these idiots before they even leave Burnley, by putting up with it, you are condoning, if not encouraging it. As to responsibility. It should be everybody's responsibility to stop them, if not yours whose. You can't have it both ways.
Note their names, and the next time they apply for the coaches just tell them NO. Simple.

You asked if my lad had fallen downstairs before or after the fighting.
There was no fighting upstairs in the family lounge which is the stairs which he fell down.

I didn’t ask where the fighting was, I asked whether he fell down the stairs before or after the fight that happened. It’s a timeline, not whether he had been fighting.

So you weren’t in The Manchester? What you can be clear about was whether the stumble occurred before or after the fighting (that occurred at The Manchester). It’s not a trick question though you do seem very evasiveClaretInLeeds wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 2:15 pmThere was no fighting in the bar we were in. How much clearer can I be?

It's a separate entrance staircase.

When the doc was asking me for permission to use the drug to put him under and he said "I'm the leading exponent of using Ketamine in A &E" I think he guessed from my face that I'd never expected to hear it in that context
Worked well enough though!

Yep, it's actually an essential medicine and is used a lot in children's anaesthetics due to its effectiveness and the fact it suppresses breathing less. It's somehow found its way into more social settings, even though it's one of the least social drugs I can think of.Lancasterclaret wrote: ↑Sun Mar 05, 2023 5:22 pmmy little lad needed seven stiches in his knee after sliding on some limestone paving at club camp

Re: Game spoiled by selfish "fans"
Ket’s been around for 50 yrs + surely?, bit of a crossover with Heroin which was used for all sorts of pain relief , and still is but lesser extent as a non injectable , but heroin not a great battlefield drug ! Ket used to get bundled into the “ horse tranquilliser “ bracket , usually when people like Keith Moon had been on Mandrax / Quads a very different drug. I’d imagine most uk paramedics carry Ketamine .
I’d be very suprised if the usual “ coke “ heads has been on Ketamine?? Or had they??
