Love New Order, the lyrics mean nothing but everything and the music goes so well...its like acoustic fish and chips, perfect

I have sometimes thought with New Order it's a gag they are in on: put out any old crap on a keyboard with nonsensical lyrics and see if anyone still buys it

Aye they have a sense of humour but there's a lot more than that going on...marmite I suppose, that's why I like them too

New Order- I’m a teenage boy, but I like good tunes, simple but sometimes profound lyrics. I need something cooler than pop music.

The Smiths - I’m a teenage girl or boy. I like good tunes, feel a bit sad, but also a bit pervy sometimes.

Happy Mondays - Im getting a bit naughty. Drink, drugs. I think I want to dance.

Stone Roses - I feel a bit dirty after the Mondays. Think I’ll just get stoned and feel chilled (with the odd anthem thrown in)

This is my summary of some of the bands mentioned. Loved them all and they were very important in stages of my life 😊

I've never got it.

I mean it's good but it's not exactly Echo and the Bunnymen.

The Smiths were supposed to be flawless live.
Don't know about flawless, but they were very good.
