Mind the hole on Harry Potts Way

Post by ClaretTony » Fri Apr 21, 2023 10:31 am

As of yesterday, there remains a big hole in the road on Harry Potts Way, it's between the club shop and the Park View on the Park View side of the road. There was also no access to any traffic to Brunshaw Road or HPW from Higgin Street by the Park View.

I don't know what the plans are for tomorrow, but if it remains the same then it could cause some issues.

Also if you are traveling to Ewood park next Tuesday, be careful to tell the locals to mind the gap

Yes, that's still open. Just the Park View side that's closed

Is Bernard Cribbins informed? He can go and stand there and sing “don’t dig there, dig it elsewhere” to anyone that will listen

(Dang it Boss….. when I posted your post was not there! Today is a weird day)

I know, but it wasn’t there! And as soon as I posted, it appeared. Something’s going on today in my claret enclave over here

Perhaps it was lost in the hole and someone lifted it out 🤔

If we’re driving along as a family and I see a pothole, I break into that song every time. It drives the kids nuts

I’m surprised the councils not all over this as it would be another excuse to erect more temporary traffic lights

To be fair, it's normal to find an erection where there's a hole.
