Lashers v Millwall
Biggie this one.
With the amount of bottling going on, we need Millwall to come through for us tonight. Big time.

Looking at the fixtures tomorrow, Blackburn’s play-off hopes could be over as early as Monday night If they lose. It may not go down to the final game.

Luton be resting a fair few and holding back you’d imagine, nothing really to play for.agreenwood wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 8:07 pmLooking at the fixtures tomorrow, Blackburn’s play-off hopes could be over as early as Monday night If they lose. It may not go down to the final game.

As we showed on Tuesday, you don’t need to be even at 70% to beat Rovers.

Re: Lashers v Millwall
Millwall have unfortunately lost form just when teams need it most. (As have Rovers!!) Sunderland and Coventry look likely to claim the last two spots judging by the form they're in.
Re: Lashers v Millwall
I noticed it showed the Blackburn Manager and his two young sons at the game. I wonder if anyone there has asked him how his team went on the other night.

Blackpool fans singing the Great Escape theme tune.
They ain't gonna escape though, if they don't shape up.

Re: Lashers v Millwall
If Blackpool get a point tonight they still go down if Huddersfield win one of their three remaining games, or Reading win one of their two.
As I post this, Millwall have just got a penalty......and score!

Re: Lashers v Millwall
Can someone sort the maths out for me?
Blackpool are relegated with a defeat, but are 3 points behind huddersfield, who have 2 games in hand.
If Huddersfield lose all 3 and Blackpool win their last game, does that not see them potentially safe on goal difference?
I see that they are practically relegated, but can't see how its confirmed?

Re: Lashers v Millwall
I’m confused too. What if Reading draw with Huddersfield but lose their other game 3-0. And Blackpool beat Norwich 3-0. Does this not mean Blackpool would be above reading then on GD?lakedistrictclaret wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 9:51 pmIf Huddersfield lose all three, that means Reading win one, in which case Blackpool couldn't reach Reading

Re: Lashers v Millwall
They would, but they’d still be in 22nd as Huddersfield would have also picked up a point and moved to 45 points.colne-claret wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 10:12 pmI’m confused too. I prefer Blackpool to PNE but not by much. Bye bye Blackpool.
Re: Lashers v Millwall
Apart from Watford second best team against us just now
Just ragged two from six off them
Just ragged two from six off them
Re: Lashers v Millwall
The Oystons according to the vast majority of Blackpool fans absolutely plundered the club, if the away end is anything to go by they just showed utter contempt to supporters. Such a shame for them, taking points from us this season though suggests they had enough to stay up.
