Such a good player who had a really long career despite arriving late to the professional game. One of the heroes of 93-94, brilliant to watch.
Are there any other players that played for Burnley, Blackpool and Preston?

I created a thread on this a while a go. Got a good list going. but one who played for Rovers as well, which surprised me.

Interesting one that, I thought there was nobody who had played for all 4. Closest I think was Mark Paterson (Pictured in a Burnley shirt). If there is one I'd be interested as I pondered this with mates when you created the thread.claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 12:08 pmI created a thread on this a while a go. 25 really is late to make it as a pro, what a career he had too, maybe even helped him later on. I think Vardy was still non-league at roughly the same age.

Vardy was similar age when he moved to Leicester. Not many will come through to league football at that age but to then play beyond his 42nd birthday was astonishing.NottsClaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 2:01 pm25 really is late to make it as a pro, what a career he had too, maybe even helped him later on.
