Vitinho takes an age to make a throw in and then when he does it’s poor and they break and shoot fortunately wide

Jesus Christ we conceded a chance from our throw-in deep in their box. Need to do better than that.

Early thoughts
Vitinho is not a RB
Roberts is not a CM
Disjointed sums it up - even with awful pitch

Should that not have been a free kick for them when their forward was chopped down following a poor pass by Trafford?

Ah, he dived!

Brownhill looking sloppy at the moment. We aren't really getting going right now though.

Ref done well actually penalising a dive!

Always difficult watching when you have part of the pitch in the sun and part in the shade.

Not one of ours has taken a man on. They carry it and as soon as they come up against a Real player they check back.

Roberts plays well as a rotating fullback, but the point in playing him as a rotating fullback and not as a 2-man CDM unit is that by covering two positions, RB and CDM, it gives you another man (5 in total) in attack while still having a 5-man defensive unit. YEEEES WE'VE SCORED COME ON BURNLEY anyway, as I was saying, if you've got a back four AND you play Roberts alongside another CDM, you've only got 4 in attack, which means you need a bit more from your CDM, and Roberts ain't it. You either play Roberts as a fullback, or as a rotating fullback, but you don't play him with his starting position as a CDM.

Prob cos there’s just no one else to play it today. Gives him some more experience playing in those tight areas.
