Yep, it's all about opinions. Imagine if we all had the same ones. It does seem easy on here to upset someone with an opinion and that is just ludicrous. We all suppprt the same team but that's where the similarity ends really. Opinions on every single player abound and so they should. Have a good day and upcoming season.

I saw Sheff Utd a few times on TV and four players stood out - Berge wasn't one of them. They were Ndiaye, Ahmedhodzic (who scored as many goals as Berge) Bogle and McAtee. I could perhaps add Jebbison but he didn't play enough to properly judge. Berge did seem to liven up near the end of the season.

I do agree though that it may be that United's style of play in The Championship didn't suit Berge.

A good team is far more than individuals and we see different things. I loved Marney, David Jones and Cork. Others see very different players. Not the same as otheers.

We pocketed £25m from the sale of Wood - and I’d be surprised if we had any outstanding transfer payments to Leeds.
Of course we bought a cheaper version in terms of the transfer fee we paid and would have had a pretty large surplus on the Wood / Weghorst deal irrespective of how it was structured and we dealt with with getting the money in.

I’m just saying I do not think the Weghorst deal will have much of an impact on us financially - and I doubt very much from the way we are spending money it’s made things “difficult”.

I tend to view Wood and Weghorst as one so we will be a net beneficiary of that transfer financially, it cost us with relegation but we have now bounced back so no harm done.

Time now to ship out and move on, with no regrets.

Great news about Benny by the way, only natural our young players have their agents sniffing around trying to get them a pay rise, which, lets be honest, is well deserved.

For starters he left them a few months ago so he's a little bit behind the curve and secondly he's a Burnley player about to sign for Hoffenheim on loan? It's becoming more and more apparent that Turf Moor isn't Wout's "happy place"!!

Every time I’ve watched him for WBA and QPR he has been one of the worst players on the pitch. The game seems to pass him by.

Yes, very much a number 6 type. Would be a good addition as cover for Cullen in the first instance and to provide an option to play two genuine defensive midfielders in certain games. Seen prices around the £5m mark mentioned which shouldn't hurt too much.

Not unhappy with Townsend not joining. He seems a decent guy with ample skills, but its quite simple-the more he played , then the less time some of our new young wingers would. I think Andros has been very mature, worked out his time was limited and has decided to move on. I wish him luck.Still has plenty to offer to maybe a side like WBA for example
