Despite looking fallible when we have the ball and when we don't have the ball we are somehow still in this game thanks to an open goal miss before they were gifted their equaliser.
It's truly awful watched this disjointed and frail side and the task of getting to the end of the game with the point intact is a very big one

Indeed I'd bring on Berge and JayRod - we're desperately in need of a bit more muscle, even if it's on their set pieces.

I'm shivering each time they have a corner or free kick close to our goal. Trafford is not an imposing figure.

We need so much more/anything from Amdouni. The invisible man.
He’s another that flatters to deceive and really shouldn’t be in the starting line up.

Well I used my eyes and made the decision that he was outside of the area. Quite simple really even for you to grasp.

You seem to be weirdly trying to defend Trafford, I'm not having a go at him, but after seeing it again I'm still firm that he was outside of the area.

Take the claret tinted specs off bud. We're awful it doesn't really matter.
I didn’t see the angle but he looked incredibly lucky to not be out of his area with that. Hopefully Coote has done us a solid after missing the blatant foul in Anaas.

Fair enough, so not 100% then.

Not defending Traff at all, just wondered how you’d decided it was outside from the angles shown.

Is it tinted specs to suggest we should have been given a pen for the shirt pull on Zaroury?

He has pace then immediately gives it away after using it, so what’s the point? He’s far too raw to be starting week in week out at this level in a team like this. Larsen or Berge playing off the right would offer a lot more - just my opinion perhaps.

I don't think it's a matter of formation or even player selection. We need to do the basics better and work harder. We aren't winning second balls and we're not keeping the ball well enough.

Rabbit in headlights sums up the whole season thus far
I said after Chelsea, in this league rabbits get run over, and we are really bollockless. The lack of a leader just to bollock the errors, or stir up some aggression is killing us.

Negativity gets you nothing.
We have a very cheap squad by PL standards, it would be so much better if "fans" could first accept that as a fact, and second show some support for the whole project.

Like the majority of people who have seen it and also agree it was outside of the area I don't think it's too difficult to understand really.

If you want to pretend he wasn't then that's fair enough, but it does suggest tinted specs yes. Who mentioned a pen?

We are ten games into this Prem season now and we are still making the same mistakes we were in game one. He has to accept we haven't got the ability for the type of game he wants to play right now. Our defence especially cannot retain the ball under pressure.

It's most concerning that up until this very point it doesn't seem to have actually improved at all.

Even more worrying that Jay is the answer after spending £100m on players.

Hope I am proved wrong, but at this moment I can feel another defeat on the horizon.

Jay on. God help us, hope he finally does something but as anonymous as Amdouni's been I wouldn't have done that, would've rather gone 4231 with Amdouni in Foster's role.

I'd 100% start Larsen he looks such a well rounded player. Not as fast, but decent retention, flair/trickery that is effective, good at finding space, good shot on him, can cross, seems pretty too footed, decent size for his position, and seems able to move around across that front line- could see him as any of RW/LW/CAM or even a deputy striker in more of a false 9 role than Foster plays. Can't get why he's not in.

If Benson was fit I'd start him too. I know he's lightweight and defensively suspect but he's one of the few players I'd say is a definitive goal threat

The summer window was an absolute car crash that has taken the squad backwards

The fact we’ve all been clamouring for Cork, Brownhill, Taylor, Jay, JBG this season sums up the state of things.

Eye watering failure

Absolutely, those guys served us so well for a good few years and I’ll always respect them, but in 2021/22 it was obvious it was a season too far for them.

2 years on and they’re our best players in the PL having spent so much money
