Saw him play for Boro against us in the reserves at Turf Moor before he signed for us and he ran the show (or that’s what I was told as I was too young to remember).
I was at that game and it's true Gazza looked a class above anyone else on the pitch that night.
It's a shame his demons got the better of him and he was a pale shadow of the great player he undoubtedly was in his prime by the time he came to Burnley.
