Poor management from Heckingbottom. As soon as he'd got away with a yellow for the first assault his manager should have replaced him. It was blatantly obvious that he was a red waiting to happen. With that indecision the game was lost. If they'd got it back to 2-1 it would have been a nervy second half.
Try looking at the first 1 again Vitinho pushes him into O’Shea still not a good challenge but not as bad as people make out in my opinion.

Agreed. I thought his arm was held by Vitinho and he was trying to free it. No excuse for the second though.

None of these were anything like And Carroll's assault on Ben Mee.

As predictable as the red seemed, to think Heckingbottom is hooking one of his main strikers in a game they’re already losing but need something from seems a bit far fetched. The manager has to be able to trust his players not to do something so brainless.

No one to blame but McBurnie on that front.

Being pushed didn't make his elbow make contact with O'Shea. There was a definite swing of his elbow and it should've been a red card issued straight away
