When you've only managed to get 8 points all season a 6 point gap is a chasm.
Not when you have them last game in May after already dominated them twice.

One win and they are within range.

Both not up to this level so no surprise there. Trafford outmuscled for the first.

Difference was the opposition were tactically far less capable and we had a decent out ball to Tella.
Agreed.
So why is he still being asked to do it?

It’s neither, it’s tactics , until they change there won’t be any difference in performance or results

Redknapp saying that Everton are too big and too strong for Burnley to cope with.
As I posted 30 minutes ago - men against boys.
To be fair though they have been for most teams. 2 giant CM's as well as Calver Lewin and Tarky and Keano. We have 3 big centre halves in the team, though, and Berge and J Rod who isn't small. it's clearly a desire thing for me, they are first to every first, and second ball.We look like we can't be arsed today which is remarkable considering where we are in the table..

Boing boing.

Win the Championship next year and come back a better, more experienced team.
Money rules these days, and we will never have enough to compete.
Relax.

Have said every time, aim to finish in the top 3 of the bottom 6.
Stop expecting the unexpected.

Football is complimentary. It’s more than just bits of individual actions.

Can’t play out at all when pressed and can’t hit it long and can’t claim a high ball.

Not what we need and makes us worse. Same **** every week

He's being asked to play that way to draw the opposition onto us, thus creating space behind them. We did it all last season.

Difference was the opposition were tactically far less capable and we had a decent out ball to Tella.
Other difference is Muric is factually better at it- better in the Championship than Trafford in the PL and L1, better against Everton in the cup.

So again why play to Trafford's weaknesses rather than either his strengths or pick the strongest choice for the style accepting other weaknesses.

Round and round in circles we go.

Great to see Foster back out on the pitch in a Burnley shirt.
One real positive to take out of this game.

Childish name calling like this or "this is the worst team and manager I've ever seen" really doesn't help. I'm critical and I'm frustrated and unhappy with an awful lot of decisions and performances this season but this really isn't doing anyone any favours come on now.

Don't get that sub. Bringing Benson on for a winger sure he has a goal threat.
CB-LB for a CB to move to LB smacks of overthinking it. Delcroix hasn't been great but it's just not a change that I can understand tactically

A Dyche side? Full of experienced internationals at all key positions. Everton are a very good side. Very well organised. They lack strength in depth but they would be in Europe at the end of this season but for the points deduction. They may still make it. They've just won 3 on the bounce without conceding. (Including Newxastle and Chelsea in the last 2).
Be honest. Passing a football to a team mate wasn’t a strong point of ours towards the end of Dyche’s tenure.

We’re giving him his easiest night of the season tonight, though.
