Injuries
Kompany was told not say anything today about injuries.
That bad news?
That bad news?
Re: Injuries
Or good news, if certain players are fit, but we don't want to alert Luton

Re: Injuries
I’m led to believe it’s bad news. Let’s just say VK might need his boots…

Beyer and Taylor bad news if kompany needs his boots, but potentially more positive regarding foster?LongsideClaret wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 1:55 pmI’m led to believe it’s bad news. Let’s just say VK might need his boots…

Re: Injuries
Assume we will use O’Shea AD Ekdal and Delcroix. I would certainly play Roberts against Doughty. We have to stop his crosses at source but I am expecting
Trafford
Vitinho OShea AD or Ekdal Delcroix
JGB Briownhill Berge Odobert
Amdouni Foster

Re: Injuries
Hopefully Foster is fit.Suspect Ekdal will not feature (maybe on the bench as otherwise no CH cover)
Would prefer to see Redmond instead of JBG (much too slow for the PL, and little creative). Alternative might be to start Roberts and play Vitinho on the right which VK has adopted in the latter part of recent games
Trafford
Roberts O'Shea AD Delcroix
Vitinho Berge Brownhill Odobert
Amdouini Foster

Re: Injuries
Delcroix has to play at centre back after his performance at Villa, regardless of Beyer’s fitness. IMO.

Re: Injuries
He didn't seem to down when asked the question, seemed very upbeat and laughing not like a man with all those players missing.
I think most are fit and he's bluffing

Re: Injuries
as daft as it may seem Cork has been able to cover at CB as a last resort, certainly not ideal but possible especially as cover from the bench if there are no other options.
I hope we can put out a good team though and not be affected too much by any injuries.

What did you enjoy about his performance against Spurs?Roosterbooster wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 2:53 pmVitinho? Roberts at RB
Although I really enjoyed AAD against Spurs, if not necessarily his other FB outings
It was embarrassingly bad!

Oh okay. I still have nightmares about his performance in the league game though.
Hopefully he'll only play there if there's literally no one else tomorrow night.

Delcroix has impressed me recently. I don't see him being dropped at all any time soon. Solid, reliable, unspectacular. Exactly we need atm.

Delcroix was excellent against Spurs and had by far his best game for us. Agree.burnley007 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 3:35 pmDelcroix has impressed me recently. I don't see him being dropped at all any time soon. Solid, reliable, unspectacular. Exactly we need atm.

Re: Injuries
It’s the most kompany thing to do, once Delcroix has a couple of good games at cb to move him back to left back and put al-dakhil back in

Re: Injuries
Just a mate who has a source in the junior coaching so he is at training ground a lot in an evening and hears stuff, he did say Beyer would be out earlier on in season and he was back earlier than expected, told me about Townsend on trial to before it was on socials just thought I’d pass it on

Can’t see him playing Robert’s as he’s clearly trying to sell him.

Re: Injuries
Just stick Muric up front and knock high balls in to him, easy as that
