Linesperson looking at his phone
Linesperson looking at his phone
Did anyone else notice the linesperson on the long side appeared to look at his phone whenever there was a break in play for a corner by the Jimmy Mac and he was stood on the halfway line
Re: Linesperson looking at his phone

If that was the case, perhaps he should have been replaced, surely his mind wouldn't be 100% on the gameClaretsPadiham wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2024 7:27 pmCould be any reason, wife expecting, poorly family member. He still had to do his job.

Re: Linesperson looking at his phone
The game was live on TV if a linesman was checking his phone at any point I'm pretty sure they'd have caught it on camera and shown the footage to the world.
Seems a bit strange

Just a thought but maybe it was something to do with his communication equipment to the ref, VAR etc, maybe a battery pack be was having issues with or something?
I find it unbelievable that an official would have a phone in his pocket for a premier league match..
