Are those going to be anywhere near the quality that we lose though?
I think at least 10 will go in the summer if relegated

10 will need to go given the squad size is over 30, particularly if we want a few fresh faces too. But that over 30 includes the likes of Jay, Cork, Taylor who are out of contract, and fringe players like Churlinov, Twine, McNally, Egan-Riley… 7 there already. Muric probably won’t stay on the Champ bench. 8.

There was a 4-2 win for City early in the season. I was at uni in Manchester at the time and came back on X43 for it. The return trip after the game was less than enjoyable.

Seem to remember we were right in that game until a last minute settler made it 4 for them. Goater got 3.

They’re obviously not going to be the quality of who we lose but that’s not necessarily required given the big drop in quality of the league we’ll be playing in.

I’m not going to have a debate over whether it’s 5 or 10 (I agree we’ll likely lose Charlie, Jay, Cork, maybe JBG - so you’re already 4 in) but a lot will be people who’ve not contributed to this season.

We’re going to have far less structural rebuilding to do for a champ season than we have for either of the last two, anyway.

Amdouni, Tresor, Brownhill, Berge, JBL, JBG, Odabert, possibly Koleosho and Trafford, Ekdal/Delcroix, Benson and Zaroury I doubt will want to stay, will Foster stay even tho VK said he wasn't a championship striker or will we try and cash in?
