Season Tickets
Apologies if I've missed the prices for next season but has anything been announced by the club yet as they're usually out by now?

I think they are waiting for us to win a game before releasing any details of price increases.
Twitter is full of Everton and Utd fans complaining about their rises.

As **** a season as it’s been, I’m OK with a price increase, as long as they don’t take the **** with it.

I think he was more referring to the inflationary environment we’re all living in.

Re: Season Tickets
Off the back on overall inflation I expect at least an increase of around 10%+ and I’ve threatened before to not bother but end up getting one.
I suppose it depends on the fight between now and the end of the season as to whether I stay going on. If they take the mick though, I’ll seriously consider my options

You might get away with that behind the goals where it's cheaper but not sure people will be happy with it if already paying over 500 quid.Rick_Muller wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 5:56 pmOff the back on overall inflation I expect at least an increase of around 10%+ and I’ve threatened before to not bother but end up getting one.

Re: Season Tickets
After the season weve had, now isnt the time to annoy tthe fans with big increases. Just freeze them, a rise wont bring in enough money, relative to the revenue the parachute payments/premier league money brings in, to make it worth the risk of p*ssing off a large bunch of fans.

I agree - would be an error of judgement after what many argue is a series of errors of judgement in how we’ve approached this season.Goliath wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 8:11 pmAfter the season weve had, now isnt the time to annoy tthe fans with big increases. Re: Season Tickets
I'm expecting an increase, I wouldn't really be ok with it, but will definitely renew. I love match days home and away. Last season was out of this world, and whilst I still hold a glimmer (other teams collapsing and us going on a run) wouldn't want to miss us being the favourites in games again.

Re: Season Tickets
I would be amazed if there wasn't an increase, everything else has gone up in price, so why not football tickets?. Concert tickets are through the roof, over £100 for a basic ticket for a 2 hr performance.
The day to day costs of running the club will have risen, energy costs, food costs and fuel just to name a few. The clever thing will be putting the cost up just enough that they don't lose too many sales.

Re: Season Tickets
I think we will lose at least 3k for dropping down a level and around 3k if there's a price increase.
We are already far more expensive than local rivals, who will play at the same level.

Day to day costs probably pale into insignificance when compared to the players wage bill.Nori1958 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 8:11 amI would be amazed if there wasn't an increase, everything else has gone up in price, so why not football tickets?. Re: Season Tickets
Not sure if that will carry over.
That would involve staff actively chasing the customers down that were on the list, ringing them up in a certain order.
They will get the chance to purchase after ST holders haven't renewed.

Re: Season Tickets
They will likely go up.
One reason other than week-to-week costs, will be the fact that we will get 4 additional home games at Championship Level.

Re: Season Tickets
Reading how many people hate going to the game, I guess there will be plenty of people not renewing so those on the waiting list won't have a problemQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 7:29 amNot sure if that will carry over.

Re: Season Tickets
There will be thousands not renewing.
Not just because of how poor we have been, but there's 1000s that are Premier league fans.
U22s who have to pay full price etc.
Those who will be priced out etc..

Re: Season Tickets
Yes, there's quite a lot won't renew because right or wrong their premier league fans, there's also a lot more that won't renew because of the season we've had, but given the increase in price's on the concourse, I've just the sneakiest of feeling's that season tickets will be up next season, if this happens, watch the number's drop.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 10:30 amThere will be thousands not renewing.

If my 14 year old lad can go on with his mates I won’t be renewing mine. Football as a whole is becoming as dull as dish water

Re: Season Tickets
One reasons why sales will be down is that many don't have the same disposable income. Whole sections of the economy are taking a hit at the moment.

Re: Season Tickets
As long as any price increase is sensible I think plenty will renew. If Pace looks at his predecessors he may even freeze the price, but I won’t hold my breath on that one.
One added bonus is there will be no VAR.

Re: Season Tickets
Personally, I wouldn’t be bothered about renewing. But my son loves the whole match day so I’ll probably renew, but only on the basis it’s not an extortionate increase.

Re: Season Tickets
problem is next season new TV deal kicks in for EFL which will mean even less 3pm Saturday kick-offs
Re: Season Tickets
Well my missus’s hairdos have gone up to north of £100 every six weeks so I can justify having to pay more to watch the clarets.
She looks lovely when she comes home from the hairdressers, then when she wakes up the following morning her hair looks like it did the day before she went to get coiffured!

Re: Season Tickets
It's been my first season ticket for years this season due to the fact I work a lot of Saturdays luckily I will only miss 2 games all season.I want to renew with my grandson but we are sat in possible the worst part of the ground behind the disabled part in the JML if I can't change my seats I will just pick my games like I always have done and sit in better seats with a better view

Normally you can renew then have the option to swap seats.Ptangyangkipperbang wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2024 3:22 pmThat I have no doubt but I was more thinking in the early bird period would I still get the chance to renew then or wait for general sale?
Re: Season Tickets
Been saying it for the last 4/5 seasons, the professional game as a whole bores me now and I only attend due to my son’s interest. It were absolutely boredom at Dyche towards the end but we are now an out and out business before a football club as are many others.

Re: Season Tickets
How does it work when your renewing but want to add a new season ticket to be sat next to you? The daughter wants a season ticket next season so it'll have to involve me moving out the CFS and getting two seats together.
Any advice is appreciated

Re: Season Tickets
I'm doing something similar, me and my son have season tickets in the cfs but from next season his young son will be getting his first ever season ticket, there is not a chance we'll be sitting in the cfs next season with him so I think we both have to renew in the early bird time then when the seat swops come in later we'll have to try and get three seat's together in another stand, but I'm not sure if that's the right way of doing it
