Totally different style of play to the departing manager, if the players couldn't hack playing out from the back after nearly 2 years of his coaching and signing players to play that style I doubt very much they'll adapt to Eustace's more direct style. I think it will be like when Jones went to Southampton.
Oh I hope so…

He should sort thrm out. Theyve some decent players but they were too open and conceded too many. Its similar to Dyche taking over from Howe.

Can't believe that a manager who started of his career rather poorly but in fairness got better but over a short spell of time will all of a sudden become a nlend of Pep,Klopp, etc. He must be really desperate to go to Deadwood, current manager quits due to lack of funding, players sold and nothing to replace them and owners in financial trouble.

Now I'm no Chester Perry...not even an aggie or a Paul Waine..but isn't 8% a bit of a drop in a companies capitalisation in just one day?
Venky's (India) Ltd is only one part of the Venky family business. The top company of the conglomerate is V H Group a private limited company. The Mirror reported net worth of V H Group as £1.5 billion in 2022. Wikipedia has a list of many of the companies in the conglomerate, Venky's (India) Ltd is only one of them. The share price falls this week follow from announcement of "Q3 FY24 results on 08 Feb, 2024. The topline decreased by 7.97% & the loss came at ₹7.94cr. It is noteworthy that Venky's India had declared a profit of ₹16.53cr in the previous fiscal year same period." (Report from Mint, Indian business publication).

Without knowing anything else about Venky's (India) Ltd or anything else about the Indian stock market, it's not unreasonable to attribute the 8% share price fall to the Q3 results, particularly if the results are significantly below the market's expectations.

Or he just fancies a wage with an already f****d up club so anything that ensues isn't down to him.

Worst case scenario for him is he gets fired off with a good payoff and no blame because they were screwed before he came.

He looks a decent manager to me, only judging by his time at Blues of course, but comes across well and was getting a tune out of then. Hope its too little to late.

I think Eustace is a decent manager sadly. He did really well at Birmingham with limited resources until they decided to replace him with Rooney.
It has the feeling of Dyche being potted by Watford and being replaced with Zola then several months later coming into another East Lancashire team on a downward spiral. We all know the rest. Eustace has a point to prove after his unfair dismissal. I always fear the Venkys will get one decision right eventually. I hope that I am wrong and Eustace takes them in the opposite direction.

Interesting comments from the Birmingham fans about him - I thought he was universally respected due to getting them up the league but his football was apparently conservative to the point of utter tedium, and a lot were happy to see him go. Maybe that’s what Rovers need right now but do they have the players to play like that?

Let's hope his first half season is as tedious as Dyche's first one was for us.

The Hull game is possibly the worst game i've ever seen at Turf Moor. The attendance was about 7000 as well, although the official attendance was about 9500 which is one of the only times i've heard it announced as under 10,000. Think it was United v Madrid in the Champs Lg knockouts on the same night so load of people decided to watch that instead.
I was very much happy for Dyche to go after that.
