Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
Really hoped he would change things up today, especially after last week, but it's so predictable.
Love JBG, but he just sin't effective wide anymore, not through any fault of his own. Amdouni starting, after being hooked at HT last week and given his recent displays is bonkers. Poor Trafford still being hung out to dry and Brownhill still starts, given the line up means we will unlikely see the best of Berge.
i really don;t want to be negative, but as soon as I see the line-up, my heart sinks.
Oh well, you never know, I hope they all prove me wrong and give a display we have been waiting for all season....

I saw a few posters after the Arsenal defeat suggesting that Kompany had to reflect and change things.
Well...
Well...
Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
Is it three wingers down from our first team squad (Koleosho, Redmond, Zaroury)? Add to this the missing forward players, Foster and Ramsey, and he still can’t even make the bench.
I wonder if we’ve decided that he’s not what we need - not good for us and not good for Tresor.

I know we are more of a shop window than a football club but surely any shop keeper would rotate the stock especially the stale things.

Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
Vk stubborn as usual, but JBG is in for Ramsey, who is not a wide midfielder, improves us. Should really have Cullin in though instead.

If I was Muric Cork Cullen Trésor Benson Roberts Ramsey Koleosho Ekdal Foster Zaroury J Rod etc I would be super unhappy for various reasons
If I were Trafford Amdouni or Brownhill I would be laughing all the way to the bank

Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
I cannot understand that selection for the life of me, but I hope VK is right and they manage 3 points. UTC!
I don't rate Tresor at all but we need clarity on what the situation is there. Is he injured? Is there some secret clause where if we don't use him we can send him back? Has he got a bad attitude? Or is he just so crap that the bench is too good for him?

Kompanys stubbornness and reluctance to change is mind boggling. I don't know what Cullen, Muric or Benson have to do to start. To their mind now it must seem impossible. Sad

Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
I don’t think Tresor will be here next season. The situation we had with Vossen springs to mind.
I can see him going to somewhere like Club Brugge for an undisclosed fee quite soon after ‘signing’ with us.

Just got thrashed 5-0 with some of the worst attitudes we’ve seen from Burnley players in a long while, and it’s same again.

If he has had the respiratory virus that is rife, certainly here in the midlands, which I an just recovering from, then it could be 4 or 5 weeks before he recovers. It is a NASTY one.

Like Kompany and an increasing number of other fans, i barely give a toss any more. Whatevs.
It's an absolute tragedy what's being allowed to unfold at our club. Unforgiveable.

I personally think this is a much more balanced team and in theory should make us more competitive.
JBG give us much more with his work ethic and tactical nous.
I’m just amazed Amdouni has managed to keep his place.
This is a massive game for VK. He’s got to get a result

Re: Burnley vs Palace Match thread
I personally think the longevity of his career is dependent on how he performs over the next 4-6 games.
He’s got to start showing he can be at least competitive at this level. He doesn’t come across as a manager that will be happy just settling in the lower leagues.
I think it’s almost make or break time for him. He either becomes a successful premier league manager in the short term or he gives it up.
