For 30 minutes I thought he was fine but then got decidedly worse for the remainder of the game.
Another game changing decision against us and lost control between 35-65.
Not good.

Denied points by an unforgivable decision yet again.
The refereeing has been the pits this season.

The standard of the referees in this league this season is astonishingly bad.

I thought he was having a decent game trying to let the game flow etc, then came the poor free kick decision and the rest of his game in the second half went to pieces

Another one to add to the list. Stopped the game for their player rolling round faking injury, seemed to believe Wolves players were injured after a few cynical fouls they committed and awarded a free kick to them for a ‘trip’ by the invisible man.

This has to be the worst set of referees in Premier League history.

Lo and behold another woefully substandard referee. I think if a referee clearly demonstrates that he doesnt know the laws of the game but is allowed to officiate games in the top league, then serious questions need to be asked of the governing bodies.
Summed up by stopping the game when we were in possession, for a player who was faking injury and then not insisting he had treatment or booking him for simulation.
The free kick for their goal wasn't a foul but that just reinforces why VAR can never work in football. It isn't like cricket ir rugby where play constantly stops and restarts. Everything that happens in a football match affects what happens next. Either everything should be reviewed or nothing should be reviewed because as we've seen once again, an honest error becomes a match-changing decision

A 4 Some appaling decisions (both ways)
B 20 was fairly consistent on what he gave even if he was wrong multiple times
C 23 seemed to be up with play for the most part and in the right places even if he did get the decisions wrong.
D 18 no real dissent or issues but that was possibly down to the discipline of the players (for the most part)

We are too nice. As a fan base we need to kick off at every minor decision that goes against us. The players need to be on the ref and surrounding him Arsenal style. Vinny is right to hang this **** out to dry in the interview tonight.

I noted that the 4th official spent a lot of time telling our set piece coach that he was an inch out of the technical area but was absolutely fine with the opposition manager sprinting out of the area to be an extra ball boy.

A real strange performance. Tried to let the game flow which I applaud. But got too many basics wrong - and can only assume he didn’t get the memo about kicking the ball away being a booking?
Hard to put the shocker of a decision to give the free kick leading to the goal aside when rating, but I’ve tried to!
A - 12
B - 12
C - 18 - which made his error leading to their goal all the more puzzling
D - 8 - really poor in that sense

Got the big decisions wrong. Football is getting ridiculous, you watch 90 mins and it hinges on a refereeing decision all too often, not quality (or lack of it) on the pitch.

Very poor, completely out of his depth, fell for Wolves players cheating, eg foul given just for falling over, player apparently seriously injured, stops play, didn’t even need medics to come on. It really is beyond me how these refs get promoted to this level. Watched three Championship games on Monday and thought all three refs were twice the ref of this incompetent.

I agree with what someone on hear said on another thread, let's get some strategically placed banners up in the ground regarding the current state of the officials, VAR and the PL. It's time clubs like ours started calling this shite out for all to see

Incredibly poor and weak referee. The 'apparent foul' for their goal and the childlike antics of their No8 were mistakes that should never occur at this level. The second half saw him 'shrink' more and more into himself as the game was way beyond his abilities. Probably left the field thinking he'd 'got away with it'. I take it he is one of an elite group of officials in this country. I ask the question how has he managed to achieve that position? He can keep up with play all day long as far as I'm concerned but incompetency, ineptness and cowardice are characteristics I cannot score sadly.

Going through the back of somebody is a yellow card. But he didn't book the Wolves player for this in the first half!
Everyone in the ground saw the (very tricky!)!Wolves player spin himself into the ground and fall over and yet the person closest to the incident thinks it's a foul. Very poor!

Beyond coincidence, I reckon that's around 18 pts robbed this season, these decisions have not even been close this season

First time posting but had to after watching that performance last night.
A. Decision Making (including use of advantage) -8 got the big decision wrong, failed to come back and caution a Wolves player after advantage. The foul where the player comes through the back no yellow card. Wolves players Lemina pretended to be injured three times to avoid a yellow. Played like a book by Wolves.
B. Consistency - 8 went from one extreme to the other from soft free kicks to letting things go.
C. Fitness and Positioning - 16
D. Control and Authority - 6 there was no way he had control or authority last night.
Very Poor for me probably the worse I have seen at the Turf this season.

I seriously have to question whether this game is about football any more - it seems as if everything that happens on the pitch is second to what is supposed to happen at the end of the season. Cheats - the longer it goes on the more obvious it is.

The last game Thomas bramall referred before last night was Preston vs Millwall on 2nd March, he should be nowhere near a premier league game after not reffing for a month
