Friargate, Preston pedestrianisation.

Post by Lakester_2023 » Sun Apr 21, 2024 12:56 pm

Does anybody know whether this has finally been finished? The completion date has been shifted and shifted, musta been horrendous for the businesses along that stretch.

Anyway, some good places along there for an afternoon drink and a quick bite to eat [you cannot beat Coco's👍]. Has it been reopened, is it looking gooooood or is it still ongoing? Thanks.

Your best bet for somewhere nice to eat/drink would be to head down Friargate, into the train station and go anywhere else

Prob not done yet. The people doing it are also doing the culvert… sharing their time between the two.

I'll be honest, I'm dead against it. I mean, people forget that traders need access to Dixons!
