Brilliant race.
Piastri was unlucky to drop to last after the front wing change. It could have been an even better day for McLaren.

Been a McLaren fan since my glory hunting days of 98 and 99, absolutely buzzing with the result today, a superb drive from Lando, the upgrades worked, Oscar only had half of them today, and there are more upgrades planned for Silverstone in July.

The safety car landed at the perfect time, but Lando managed to Drop Verstrappon pretty easily on the restart.

Fantastic result.

Historically I have always been a British driver fan, rather than a team, but this kid right from day one has given off the same vibes as Verstappen. He's amazing. Only one other team have beaten Red Bull since Brazil 2022 and so this is one hell of an achievement. I hope this kid builds on this and wins more races and a World Championship - in a McLaren would be just fine.

I don't think you'd find a more popular race winner amongst his peers than Lando. Normally you're either competitive, and considered a two hat. or rubbish but a thoroughly good lad. Lando does the lot.

Balls to it - the fact Gil de 'Hilda' Ferran got an honourable mention by Zak makes it everything. A superb sport.
