For any info ahead of game at Spurs other than tickets and coach travel.

Links for these threads along with ticket info and Accy Clarets will be in the sticky post.

Any good recommendations for away fan friendly pubs nearby? The first time I went we went to the Irish Centre but looks like that's closed now.

The Beehive seems fine. Not sure what they're like if you're wearing colours but never had any problems going there.

The Antwerp Arms is away friendly and the Redemption Taproom.

In the F.A cup game we couldn't get a beer anywhere near the ground. as home fans only allowed in pubs
Had to get back on the train to Silver st,
only 5 minutes away with a decent pub just around the corner from the station, and beer was cheap and good

In the poshest accent you can muster tell them you aren’t going to the football you are down south visiting sick relatives.

I'll be having a pint or two in Central London, then tube to Seven Sisters.

Is Seven Sisters the best tube station to use and how far is it from the stadium ?

Seven sisters is over a mile and a half to the stadium, plus our entrance is the furthest point away from where you approach. Post game it’s rammed. I’ve found Northumberland park station, 15 mins walk and a quick train to Stratford and then onto the Elizabeth Line for central London is less walking, gives better option for beers and is quicker. The nice Redemption Brewery Tap Room is a short detour from the route to Stadium from Northumberland Park. Gravity Well Brewery with a small drinking area is in the same Industrial block. Not had a problem getting a beer there as away fans, plus your walk to the stadium brings you out right by the little road you have to access for the away turnstiles.

The ones nearer the ground like Beavertown (although I think that was closed last time I walked past), No. 8, Bluecoats, Elbow Room, etc are all home fans only.

Beehive certainly isn't, neither are Antwerp Arms or Redemption.

If you're getting a tube then Seven Sisters is the nearest. It's a bit of a trek but you can often hop on a bus up the high road or if you stop off at the Beehive that breaks the walk up. Or there's the train options but I can never be bothered with those.

Seven Sisters is a good half hour walk to the stadium.

Depending where you are starting your journey from a better option might be overground from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane station, which is only 5 minutes walk to the stadium.

If you are getting to London by train from the North West, the good thing about Seven Sisters is that it is only four stops on the tube to Euston.

I've never known the station to be particularly busy after the match.

Visiting Supporters' Guide
This guide is intended to help visiting supporters make the most of their trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. For further details please click here.

Visiting Supporter Coach Parking
All official and unofficial coaches will drop-off and pick-up from Zone A (West Road) or Zone B (Brantwood Rd) – see map pages 10-11 for locations.

All coach drivers will need a coach parking permit in order to park in these coach parking zones. To obtain the link to book a permit, please contact supporterservices@tottenhamhotspur.com.

Wayfinding signage will direct you from the coach parks to the stadium. Other coach parks will be used if the away attendance increases for a particular fixture.
Coaches must arrive 2-3 hours before the start of the event to comply with local road closures. You will be allocated a zone to park in, which will be highlighted on your e-ticket along with directions to your allocated parking zone. Coaches must leave 1-2 hours after the event

For additional information on visiting the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium please see: tottenhamhotspur.com/getting-here

No Tottenham Away thread?

Post by mybloodisclaret » Fri May 10, 2024 6:19 pm

Apols if I've missed it. Not seen the usually obligatory info for Spurs away?

Given the potential train chaos booked a Travoldge at Manor House. Planning on having a few beers around Finsbury Park area before heading upto White Hart Lane.

There was a thread.

Burnley Police have advised Burnley fans to drink around Kings Cross.

Getting the train to Kings Cross then heading north to Finsbury to drop bags off. Not going near Tottenham until I can get in. Remember it a from a few years ago and they say Burnley's a **** hole.

The delights of Haringey.

Scariest bit of London, nowhere else comes close.

Not that I'm advocating going against police advice, but the pubs north of the ground (towards Edmonton) tend to be better, in my experience.

Not been to Haringey but it's hard to imagine anywhere scarier than Walthamstow.

To be fair, Walthamstow has suffered severe levels of gentrification. Its actually now quite 'nice".

The Lea Valley between the two is a great place.

If you're staying there I'd just go to the Finsbury across the road or the Naturalist by the reservoir and then get a 279 up to the ground.

I had to go there a couple of times for work and my opinion of Walthamstow was the most scary yet beautiful place I have ever been.

Like being up townley with the inhabitants of Aigburth or Moss side (or worse)

My daughter got an apartment in Walthamstow 5/6 years ago on the basis that it wasn't yet gentrified and thus too expensive but wasn't totally deprived. Seems to be up-and coming to me after a few visits. Certainly that wetlands area is a good facility and there are some decent/civilised places to eat and drink.

Before the match (coming up from Waterloo) I like to have a beer in Kings Cross area- (especially the bar at the front of St Pancras station) before tubing up to Seven Sisters (or Highbury when its an Arsenal visit)
London Clarets are meeting in a brewery bar just north west of of the ground I believe - and at least that's the right side of the ground for away supporters.
