Chris Waddle comments ? Really

Post by kenyon6923 » Sat May 11, 2024 8:52 pm

"Nottingham Forest have survived - a magnificent achievement ???"

Pre season target
Finish above the 3 promoted clubs - and even with a 4 points deduction you will only need 29 points.

Result
Magnificent Achievement

They have survived by having a team that was built on cheating. A couple of points deducted doesn't fix the wrong, they've just got away with it and can now enjoy another season in the premier league.

I don't think we need to take too much notice of Chris ;)

Breaking Prem rules should be fixed points depending how much the breach is. Its a fixed 10 points for going in to administration in the EFL, no appeals

They are just lucky we have been that bad

I'm surprised Waddle can still talk.

Chris waddle was once the manager of Burnley fc, when he demonstrated his football knowledge and management skills to the world.

Thats what makes whatever comments he makes about anything, anywhere, null and void.

Decent player, utter buffoon.

His pre match tactics planned on a Friday night in the Black Bull were ahead of his time.

When Chris speaks wise men listen ..

Last time I saw the great man was in a Skegness “ holiday park “ presenting a junior football tournament prizes about 3 yrs ago . He’d had a few too and was paid the princely sum of £240 ( we’ve all gotta eat )

Yeah, and once took the first tam squad to The Forest Inn at Fence, for “ team bonding” after training. After a couple of minutes stood at the bar waving a £20 note around, and not being served, he was heard ( very clearly ) to utter the classic line - “ do you know who I am “? The barman then replied - “ Yes I do. You’re the **** that missed that penalty against Germany in the WC semi final aren’t you? So wait your turn like everyone else”!!
