Personally think what you miss is that the circumstances matter.KRBFC wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 5:10 pmIt’s like saying Sean Dyche is a better manager than Pep Guardiola he’s just not got the same tools, it’s pure nonsense. The best get the top jobs, like in F1 the best drive the best cars.
If Robins was such a great manager he wouldn’t be stuck at the likes of Barnsley, Huddersfield and Coventry. The reason he hasn’t been poached is because he hasn’t achieved anything, you can cry about budget all you want, Dyche managed automatic promotion on nothing. At least Robins has 2 strikers he spent £10M+ on at his disposal.
Pretending Robins is better at challenging for automatic promotion than VK in the Championship is pure stupidity. Their records don’t even belong in the same sphere.
Do I think Pep is a better manager than Dyche? Yes. Do I think Pep would have kept Burnley in the PL when Dyche did- No.
So the circumstances do matter. Similarly I don't think Dyche would have won what Pep has with similar teams.
It was only earlier in this year you were laughing at suggestions McKenna could be anywhere near as good as Kompany- and yet his achievements with Ipswich are (in my opinion) at least as good, if not better than what Kompany has achieved here so far.
Not saying i want Robins but you lack appreciation for the job that managers do relative to everything else. It's evident by your hatred of Dyche.
