Narr, he's all but gone now. Let him go and stew in his own ego and
mistaken belief in his vast knowledge and ability. Time will tell of course.

I thought quite a lot about him but, as others have said, he's just another
one passing through our great club.

We'll still be here when he's long forgotten.

Very disappointed in him, thought there was more to him than this.

Anyway, b0ll0cks to him and his mates and UTC.

PS hope the set piece bloke moves on - waste of space and a wage.

(Glad I got that off my chest)

Seems pretty unlikely unless the deal is being agreed in Football Manager

It's no more outlandish an idea than Bayern wanting Kompany tbf.

Project or no project, how many Championship managers would turn down a chance at a top club? Like I said on another thread, I would consider him near certifiable if stayed on after one of the top clubs in the world came calling.

Anyway, one good thing to come out of this - it might stop Pace from dishing out long contracts. At least this time, we'll be compensated and should do well out of it.

There isn't a poster on this board who wouldn't do the same if they were in his position.

I find the comparisons to Coyle hilarious, as if going to Bayern and Bolton are the same thing.

Probably the biggest shock to me of them all is thinking Kompany had more about him than when he should have been hurting he was talking to Munich.

Fans feel the hurt, players and managers might feel disappointed with, maybe, a little tinge of hurt. Why would they be any different, it's just their CURRENT workplace for most of them, which would show them no loyalty if they were getting older or simply not doing the job to the required standard.

Doesn't this prove the value of long term contracts?
It's the Dyche one that would have stopped him if anything.

Perhaps we should all get a Dirndl Girl as part of the deal. She just brings a stein, on demand!

It is fine having long term projects if you have just an average manager implementing them. Any young manager with potential in all likelihood won’t be around long enough to see it all through. I am sure Ipswich and the fan base would love McKenna to stick around and guide them through the next PL season.
