Re: Venkys FC
If they can sell another 500 by the first home game they will have to open, they will have to open to right hand side of the riverside

Re: Venkys FC
Doesn't take much for things to massively change in football.
2-3 years at this level for us and we're in a worse situation than them.

classic UTC message board stuff is this ...
somebody quite rightly has a pop at the turds down the road because they'd certainly be doing the same if they could, gowd knows they gave it plenty back in the day
and straight away along comes C&J and has a dig right back at us
lets just take the pi-ss shall we, its what football fans do

We should sign Brereton Diaz just to rub in our superiority.

Re: Venkys FC
He wasn't having a dig at Burnley. He was simply pointing out what could very easily happen. If we don't go back up in two years, we could be in real trouble.IPAclaret wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 12:37 pmClaretAndJew wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 10:25 am

If I was a bstards fan ( shudder) I wouldn't buy a season ticket as if the Indian courts rule against Venkys in the upcoming tax case administration could well be next, other peoples hard earned money that pays the benefits for the banjo playing inbreds will then be at risk.

Re: Venkys FC
I've always found it strange that the Venkys family, including purchase price, has pumped in over £230,000,000 over the last 13 years of ownership.
In their more reflective moments, they must sit in their gilded Offices in Pune, and think, " If we'd only issued a statement saying " ..
" We are deeply honoured to take the reins of this great and historic Football Club. We do not pretend to know the world of English Football, so we intend to be supportive backers of the existing management team, both on and off the field. We have trust in Chairman John Williams, and Club Manager, Sam Allardyce. In each of the next 13 years, we will back the Club with further investment of £10 million per annum ... "
If they just done that, they would probably now be regarded as " model owners ", and saved themselves £65m !

Re: Venkys FC
They could have saved all of their cash and even shown a profit as Big Sam would have kept them in the Prem for few seasons.Clarets4me wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 11:18 pmI've always found it strange that the Venkys family, including purchase price, has pumped in over £230,000,000 over the last 13 years of ownership.

In a couple of years fingers crossed they'll have sold as many season tickets as there were members of Wham. No club tropicano for the banjo playing inbreds.

Re: Venkys FC
They’d have saved millions more than that. They might even be in credit. Their losses are compound because of their actions.Clarets4me wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 11:18 pmI've always found it strange that the Venkys family, including purchase price, has pumped in over £230,000,000 over the last 13 years of ownership.
