No just complete made up vicious rumours to shape a narrative that even Bellamy has fallen out with VK. There could be numerous reasons why Bellamy hasn’t gone with Kompany, it’s just easier going with the dramatic fall out narrative, it suits the anti VK stuff.

Depending on the truth IF Bellamy has turned down sitting on a nice wage in Germany for 3 years to be considered think he deserves a stab as long as he picks a fantastic coaching team around him.

I’m not sure that ‘he’s turned down a nice wage in Germany’ is the ideal selection criteria, even if he brings in a fantastic coaching team.kenyon6923 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 4:52 pmDepending on the truth IF Bellamy has turned down sitting on a nice wage in Germany for 3 years to be considered think he deserves a stab as long as he picks a fantastic coaching team around him.
The last thing we need is to give someone a stab at the job. We need the best candidate available.

I wanted him to reveal the next manager wearing his second hand cap.
Seriously though it’s gone slightly quiet recently , could we be in the interview process now?

Re: Next manager
We should host a Burnley style X factor where all the potential candidates go on the show and give their interview, then the fans vote who they want in. It could be done weekly with one voted off each week and the loser of the final made to wear a Blackburn shirt admitting how shite he is that he isn’t even fit to manage them.Hedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 7:16 pmI wanted him to reveal the next manager wearing his second hand cap.

Leave it to the board. They got Kompany right,at the start. They are more astute than a few on this board give them credit for! You and I can only hope that they have done their homework and don’t sign someone the majority of Burnley supporters would hate. That would be an unwelcome stat.

I know you didn’t ask me, but here goes:
Firstly, and if I had a choice, I wouldnt want him to say ANYTHING! He’s done, he’s gone, leave us be. We are not important to you so don’t start trying to blow smoke up my arse now you’ve jumped ship like the rat you are. But if he IS going to say anything, how about:
Sorry about last year everyone - I made a right pigs ear of it. Sorry I’m not sticking around to sort my mess out, yeah, I know I constantly went on about the project, but summat better came along so I dropped it like a hot stone, because I lack moral fibre, and I lack integrity, and I really was just talking ******** because you were nothing more to me than a shop window for me and my massive ego.

Alan Nixon suggesting that Pardew put his name in the hat rather than Burnley actually being interested.
Also suggests that Van Nistelrooy would be interested

What I've managed to find out about RVN so far,...fell out with staff and players and left. Results seem to be decent though. His Masterclass interview was OK, but not as convincing as Cesc's.Hedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 10:54 amAlan Nixon suggesting that Pardew put his name in the hat rather than Burnley actually being interested.

Re: Next manager
Given that lack of inspiring names on the list so far, I'm convinced (or hoping) that we'll end up with someone exciting that's barely been mentioned in the mainstream media yet. Similar to what happened with VK. AP and the board won't want to look like they're taking a backward step.

Nixon now reporting that he’s thrown his name in to the hat, so maybe my info was wrong.
Re: Next manager
Because he's on a hiding to nothing in Serie A with a tiny team and no budget.
If he did well at Burnley he could realistically get a move to Chelsea or another bigger club off the back of it.
No big club is going to gamble on him at the moment I would guess.
Re: Next manager
If we are down to 5 and Bellamy,Lampard,Parker are 3 of them. We are in bother.

Fabregas isn't manager at Como, he's assistant while doing his badges.
He's the top choice for me.

Fabregas would potentially bring T Henry as part of his staff.
That would attract names, even Lorenz might regret his decision...

Apparently there's 8 in the final beauty parade after the owners have assessed a wide range of options, this process will be concluded by the end of June I've been told

I am really hoping it's Nistelrooy. I can then convince Mrs Longsiider that the pre season friendlies are in Amsterdam and I need a week long pass out.
