And interestingly the “shady” cyclist no longer in the media has just declared himself bankrupt. National hero to zero and the unexplained package.
Anyway, well done Cav well deserved.

Thought somebody was gonna endorse Michael Cavenagh aka 'Cav' for a moment there. Best drummer in the world for my money.

Well done to the other Cav too.

He was the outstanding cyclist which launched the GB investment into cycling and a coach load of gold medals.

Unfortunately, he never achieved a solo Olympic gold. Silver best.

Otherwise, he has achieved hugely, right up to now.

Deserved.

Absolutely love this guy, so genuine and warm and done so much for British cycling and bringing awareness via his son. So it’s very well deserved.

Desperately want him to win a stage, both for him, and to see Eddies face every year when they mention it…

Genuinely think the peloton will help him win this year.

Many congratulations to Cav on a well deserved award.

However for my money one name appears to be missing, stand up Sir Kevin Sinfield.

The absolute least that man deserves.

What an absolute inspiration and rock he has been.
