New home kit today
Re: New home kit today
Its much better than last seasons at least.
Re: New home kit today
Another traditional Villa kit but it's alright, better than the last one.
Nice badge but it's nearly on the back of the shirt.

It's basically last seasons kit without a collar.

The Sponsor log is too big, the sleeves are wrong.
Don't like the shorts they should be White with Claret and Blue trim/stripe
The socks should be white with claret and blue trim.

The first two are correct!! We'll have to wait for shorts and socks!

Re: New home kit today
I actually liked the quality of last season's kit. Decent weight to it and felt like one of those PE School tops you'd be expected to wear for a couple of years at least.
Not sure the quality of these will be up to it.

It blows my mind those prices.
I was in Spain last summer and bought the home and all way inter Miami shirts and shorts for my son and paid 30 quid. They are snide but you can’t tell the difference. He’s worn them every week for football practice and they are still In good nick. I’m going to buy him some more kits when I go to Spain this summer. Not paying those prices for a Burnley kit

Re: New home kit today
I like the kit to be fair. Will look good without the sponsors logo as well. The Longside stuff is a bit of marketing nonsense but gives it a bit of interest.
Just compared our prices to PNE's Castore prices and our adult socks are £2 cheaper and our adult shorts are £10 cheaper than PNE.

I like it. But I’m not paying £60.

Very good... The seams and style is the same. All that is different is the Castore kit has a different collar and the Longside background.AGENT_CLARET wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 3:12 pmWhat Claret and blue........I think its been like that for a few years now

One of those shirts that there’s not much to get excited about and not much to moan about - it’s just a half decent looking football shirt, no more, no less.
Hooped socks and white shorts will always get a thumbs up from me.

Like it and like the option to buy without a sponsor.
Might see what some of the training kits / other clothes are like before making a decision, I quite like some of the polos from 2 years ago.

Don't mind the design, looks decent, but it's a gambling sponsor and a 20% price increase.

Re: New home kit today
Looking back through my banking, I paid £52 for a shirt last season, which includes £5 postage and packing. So a massive increase from £47 to £60 this season, or nearly 28%. I don't think i will be buying one at that price.

Re: New home kit today
I might be splitting hairs, but shame there isn't apparently an option for a sponsorless kids shirt, so kids and parents can wear the same design.
