Currently a squad high in numbers and totally unbalanced
LB, C Mid and Striker depts need improving
Too many CB's and wide men

As for Trafford, he's very good with his feet by comparison to most keepers of his age, even if he isn't when compared to Muric. Although I think there were other factors in play there (Muric's return coincided with the return of Cullen and I think that was as significant in creating opportunities to play out by orchestrating movement higher up the pitch) and of course Muric made as many high profile errors as Trafford in considerably fewer matches. If his ability with his feet us a factor in interest in him, I don't think that should he a surprise.

Anyone know whether Trafford and/or Muric have returned to the squad during preseason? Haven't seen any photos of either of them. Be a shame to lose both but wouldn't be surprised if we did.

Some footballers like to make their own rules. If Tresor hasn't turned up he won't be the first and certainly not the last to down tools.

Then the club will decide, they'll decide to fine him the maximum allowed you'd hope.

Beyer,aad,ekdal, Ramsey are all injured but have pictured arriving at Barnfield. Redmond, twine and tresor have also appeared in pics arriving at Barnfield.

Amdouni only finished at euros last week so will be off for a couple of weeks or so.

Muric and Traff later back than others as were on international duty.

Could have sworn i saw Amdouni. Thought it was a bit odd as Switzerland only got knocked out last Saturday.

Cameron Archer back at Villa after what was essentially a £3m loan to Sheff Utd. Don’t think he’ll hang around at Villa this summer….

Not sure if he’s a Scott Parker type forward but would be an outstanding signing for the Championship and would guarantee 20 goals if he stayed fit. Certainly a better bet than Obafemi.

Last season was a baptism of fire in that league, with very little experience/protection round those kids.

Training without keepers might be good for our forwards' confidence.
