Filipe Dias a Brasilian journalist has put this on Twitter,

Left-back Lucas Pires used his social network to say goodbye to Santos. The player was sold to Burnley, from England. The player played last season for Cádiz, in Spain and was sold for US$ 2.5 million, 70% of which belongs to Santos.

Someone has also been quick to change Wiki to say he plays for Burnley.

someone who played a load of games in La Liga for that price has the potential to be an unbelievable piece of business (fingers crossed)

Apparently had some disciplinary issues at Santos and was sent out on loan and transfer listed. Ended up at Cadiz. I found the info by google last week but can’t add links on my I phone.
